When you're a musician this funny thing happens: You're just improvising or just playing and chilling and you don't see it as a big deal. You're just playing your favourite licks and you're going places your fingers have already been for the last however many years. Then someone who isn't you happens to listen and BOOM. Spine tingling face changing melodic sweetness. This is why I love guitar so much. Been listening to this on repeat since last night. Going on my playlist to drive to too. So good 🙂

I've been using this method for awhile. Usually non-diatonic chords that will have a common scale tone or some type of tritone substitution relation. The dissonances and resolutions help me write more distinct changes.
