I compared this plugin to my Quad Cortex and found i prefer the plug-in. I could not get the same tone out of the Cortex after tweaking forever!!...so i sold it and just used the plug-in for everything i do in the studio - its tonely the best thing i've ever heard!. I've owed all the modellers AXEFX.KEMPER HELIX etc... and this pluigin that cost only 140 bucks is far better sounding and inspiring than any modeller on the planet!. IMO ! Jack, your playing is so inspiring and makes me want to keep playing, especially with this awesome plugin :)

I am obsessed with Neural DSP plugins. I went from Amplitube to them and it was like coming out of a tonal box. I felt like I had come into a whole new world of sounds. I could never afford a Marshall, Soldano or a Mesa Boogie halfstack and now I can. The problem is making my mind up on the plugins I want.

I didn't expect to like this one (Tim Henson) but there were just a ton of great punk/rock sounds in there that just sounded 'right'. The extra experimental stuff is fun, but what matters is tone, and it has tone.

Fantastic playing and demo! I recently added this plugin to my Neural collection and it's quickly become my favorite! Instantly and immediately inspiring; hard to get a bad tone or setting that doesn't bring something truly unique and sonically pleasing to any project... or just noodling endlessly in standalone mode. If we are talking about all around workhorse NDSP plug-in's Nolly, Gojira, Plini, Cali 2.0 or Abasi 2.0. All of those plug-in's go from the most beautiful cleans to crushing high-gain and everything in-between. Don't get me wrong, Archetype Henson sounds amazing, but it's quite limited imo. The gain stage pushed to the max, with pedals going, only gets you a pushed crunch channel sound. That's my only qualm with the plug-in. But it is still a fantastic NDSP product with really cool pedals and effects. 💜✌️
