I normally try out the free presets offered in these Line 6 posts, and these are the most usable presets that I have ever downloaded. All of them are killer. Thank you Jack!

Hey bud.. little help.. I am new to hx and the thing is why did he used 2 separate lines in the last preset..

@@lyonleo86 Each line uses different DSP power. If you tried to use a lot of blocks on one line you would run out of DSP. The first thing I do when I create a new preset is to send the top line down to the bottom line. They call it "Output Path 2" Basically sends the top line to the second line in series.

I never cease of get amazed by how beautiful you play jack , i get inspired each time i hear you play to being honest lately i have been trying to record me playing when i have some ideas so if i forget them i can listen them again and allows me to incorporate new not only phrasing but technique and my own taste per say but i can only get that kind of inspiration listening to different musics and yours is one of them. Also i find while learning songs along the way i can learn different ways to see the fretboard and expresing and its crazinly helpful.

Great stuff jack and always a joy to listen to you play. Is great that you have done a Helix video as nowadays Neural and Fractal get most of the attention. I use the HX Stomp all the time and the regular updates have kept it right there with them in many ways especially considering the big price difference. I'll never understand why people mindlessly shit on the Helix. What a fantastic piece of gear. I absolutely love mine. I suppose maybe it's the long-term negative stigma associated with the Line 6 brand or that it's not the highest dollar thing on the market. Regardless, mine won't be going anywhere anytime soon and I see absolutely no reason to go anywhere else.

You know it is NOT just about the Helix settings. The type of pickups and switching mean a lot. I do not know the type of bridge humbucker on that guitar. I do not know if the neck pickup is a straight single coil or a stacked with split capability. Don't you think that those things impact the Helix? I sure do! P.S. thanks for the presets Jack!

I tried these tones and no matter what I did I never managed to make them sound like him (not even close). maybe my guitar is the issue here.
