I really want to you thank you. In 2023, I went through some rough times. Didn’t make enough money to pay rent, had an unplanned pregnancy then miscarriage, tons of debt. I sold off just about everything to survive. I was able to get a sawtooth because of videos you made. I’m still using it today. One day I’ll get the fancy stuff, but you showed me I can still play nice things without sacrificing much.

I play left handed , never had had a 'fancy one' you don't need it . I have a 400 dollar dinky HSS with a hot rail in neck , can split neck and bridge . and can't find anything more diverse than ( or better sounding)

Those guitars look unbelievably fine. I grew up with a black Encore guitar with an MDF body, one pickup and a neck with no truss-rod - forward bowing like you would not believe lol. It was played to death and i still have it.

Ngl we really need a hardtail version of your signature guitar. It would be a instant buy for me and many others. You nailed all the other specs, but floyds are a bit of a niche thing. Please make it a reality for the people.

Yes, we need a hardtail with longer horns, I would prefer the horns to reach between the nut and the first tuning peg. Better acoustics, sustain, aerodynamics and veneer intonation.

I was actually thinking of calling them up and seeing if I could get it hardtail with nickel hardware. Gold is a bit gaudy to me. Certainly a Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder thing.

I've been looking at all the Fusion III's and Amarok 6's, his signature guitar ticks the most boxes for me, but having a tremolo of any kind is off putting to me. To make it perfect, I'd give it the angled reverse headstock of the Amarok 6 with no string trees.

Great video. The Ibanez S series is great too! You can pick one up for like 300 bucks new with fixed bridge and jumbo frets. Simple and good bridges, etc. Great video. I will have to try thr Steve Brown guitar. ❤.. Great video sir. ❤

I play mostly 80s rock and have always been a huge Les Paul fan, but I recently went in a different direction and bought a new Jackson RR24x. I must say, I am now a believer! The neck is a dream to play on. Compound radius, thin and 24 frets. The active Jackson pickups are okay, but I may swap them with some SD Blackouts in the near future. Point is, the new Jacksons are as advertised. Awesome guitars!

Harley Benton has made me a customer forever. I started with the t series... I was blown away for 130$. I just got a solid spruce top from them and it is amazing. I haven't been able to stop playing it

I have 2 Fusion 3s. I’m selling my Music Man Cutlass & Fender Strat American Prof. because the Fusions are so nice. I did put Dimarzio pickups in them. But, my Cutlass is going for almost double the price on eBay. Hard to pass that up when the Fusions are that good.

How are those basic Vola strats selling around $800? Despite the simplified electronics, is the build quality the same as your fancy red Vola? I guess the basic strat with the normal headstock has a traditional C-neck and the reverse headstock basic strat has a thinner D-neck. I once had a Killer (Akira Takasaki’s company after his ESP days) Starrion sharing the same body style as the premium Killer KG Prime, but the build quality on the lesser model was crap. If that basic Vola strat with the reverse headstock was a lower feature model but had the same quality as your red one, that would be an awesome deal. I just don’t know.

Tellin' it like it IS, MAX!! I too, visited Jin @ AIO (after S2 purchase). Really worthwhile interaction. He HAS cracked the code for "High Q/Low $$"! Now VOLA is indeed "Next Level" for that. Bought a 3-Pc Mahogany Luna on which I installed a "Dimebucker Set". It's just NUTS! Suhr/Caparison design/build quality for UNDER $1K! "Indie MIC eBay" is Rockin', too. Scored unbranded "58 V Repro" and "Parker Fly Concept" for c. $250 ea! Can U say: "Modding Budget"?

Awesome list! It’s Cool you mentioned the Jackson JS32 I bought a Super Strat in Road Flair Orange (Neon) & your right it’s a prefect Project Guitar, I upgraded the wiring & pickups (EMG’s) not the Bridge yet as their version of a Floyd is still pretty good although I do have a Gotoh ready to go

Great video Max!. I'm not surprised by the quality of the Harley Benton Fusion and the Schecter Sun Valley super shredder, They are amazing guitars, but I'm surprised with the Vola, AIO and Eart. They are new to me and I have to check them out.👌 Anyway, since we are talking about "the MOST impressive guitars" you have reviewed. I will share 6 of the most impressive "price to value" guitars (excluding the overly expensive Reverb $250,000 to $1,000,000 guitar scams) out of the hundreds that I have tried in several Guitar Centers, Guitar Shops in last two decades of trying to search for the "Holy Grail" guitar/s that will end all GAS....and I have certainly found and owned a few of them. *Ibanez RG550* - probably the most impressive value to price ratio (It has the feel and some features of the super top end Ibanez Prestige or JCustom for below $1,000) *Gibson Buckethead Les Paul* - very rare, Good luck in finding one but it has to be the BEST LesPaul I've tried ever (24 frets, 27 inch scale, large higher frets, super hot PU''ps, Ebony.). *Suhr Modern Pro* - Probably the most versatile and balanced guitar I've tried (24 frets, neck is between Fender Custom Shop and Ibanez Wizard, fret's are like butter, very beautiful.) *ESP Kirk Hammet Ouija signature* - The best neck profile I've tried, not as thin as Ibanez but has a more ergonomic silky smooth feel, Neck Thru, Active EMG's.) (Scalloped Super Jumbo Frets, noiseless Seymour Duncan YJM Fury pickups, contoured C Shape neck built for speed.) If you need to buy just one "Fender Strat" that is both iconic and amazing, the Yngwie Fender strat is the ultimate one.🤘 So there, the Most impressive and the BEST guitars EVER!👍, any guitarist should own just one or at least one of them, You can try it, and you will see what I'm talking about. A time when things are manufactured by robots, not humans. Steinway Grand pianos are atill hand made in NY and Germany. That's they are hands down considered the apex of piano quality. But you won't buy them for budget bucks. But then they will appreciate in value, not sure budget guitars will.

I enjoy your guitar reviews. I have learned quite a bit about guitars I've never heard of. Are you aware of any lower tier guitars that have thin necks like the Ibanez Wizard necks? I'm looking to get something I can oufit with a TriplePlay that also utilizes a tremolo. The triplePlay won't fit anything I currently own. Thanks.

Ooohh those Jackson JS32 series guitars are superb. I have the white Randy Rhoads V and the natural wood finish superstrat one. The necks on them are amazing. 🤘😎🤘

Fender took the old X-series features and put them on the current JS32 series, with electronics being an exception. You'll be hardpressed to find a carved top Dinky in the higher levels now.

Ive had a js32 dinky 7 years now. Pretty solid. Im starting to be ready to move on from it. But its served me well. I had a rhoads js32 but i couldnt get into it. Too neck divey and the fretboard was way too flat for my liking. Had alot more issues than the dk did too. But i get it, for 300 youre not gonna get a great one everytime. Sold it to my friend, he likes it. Dude got a js32 rhoads with emgs for $150 lol (friend price obviously)

I own a parker. It's an amazing instrument. But if you want something in the same vain you should consider switch guitars. Under 500 dollars in the used market and some models come with a two point wilkinson bridge. All while being made of a composite material, so it's like a parker and an aristides for the more budget oriented

My choice would be the AIO. It is a ton of quality for the money and they are built in China wholesale by a guy in California that puts his brand on them and does a very thourough setup on them.

Got two HB T-style...worth 5 Xs their price or more. Amazing value. Even Roswell's sound very decent. Have two AIO T-style (including the neck-thru shown here but in Tele).....amazing setups!!! But, crappy finish... both AIO's were blemished bizarrely all over the place but all minor stuff. LOVE my AIOs...with boutique pups they are exceptional in every way!

As far as budget guitars Eart is king. They started the budget ball end stainless steel revolution and give you a professional level instrument at a ridiculously low price. The necks and bodies are as good as anything out there and are awesome mod platforms.

Only thing that bugs the hell out of me is when a company makes a " neck through " and doesn't make the upper frets accessible!!! Meaning the top of the neck thick E string !

I bought a Harley Benton Fusion III last year and it is an amazing guitar. I love it. My other two top faves (this week lol) are my EVH black and white Striped series and my Ibanez RG470DX the seafoam green one. The Ibanez trem on it is just a work of technical art. Superb guitar at a really good price point. And the colour is STUNNING. Of course this list will change next week lol. 🤘😎🤘

Schecters are killer guitars and sound amazing. I have a few different of the sun valleys and the blue and red reign apocalypse. My favorite is the Banshee Mach 6 with the ultra thin neck.
