New to Tone Studio...may be i missed something, but how do i change an existing FX block in the signal chain like Pedal FX to Compressor or Distortion without having to remove it from another place in the signal chain?

How can a fx be removed from the chain? I can move them, switch them on and off, but they won't go away.

Hi Joe. The FX can not be removed, they can be turned ON or OFF, within the signal chain. Once they are OFF they will not have an impact on the patch and other effects. That's how most signal chains on a Multi Effects unit work. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else. Best regards.

Can you add and take away effects I don't want in a preset? For example can I add 8 chorus blocks in a row or can I only use the blocks that are in the present and the ones I don't want stay there but deactivated?

Hi, I don't, sadly, and I do not have the GT-1000Core anymore... What you're trying to achieve should indeed be possible, and I'm sure it's stated in the Owner's Manual. I hope this helps. Cheers.

Can you split the Di in to two different signals like you can do in Line 6 stomp? Lets say you wanna take Bassguitar and split the Di to lowend and highend and put distortion only on high, is that possible?

Hello, Jani. I'm sorry for my late reply, I've been behind on answering comments... I believe you can, yes. If it's possible I'm sure it's mentioned in either the Owner's Manual or Parameter Guide PDF, in regards to what the ins and outs allow. I hope this helps. Cheers.
