I met Quantravious (Aka Country) While asking people to sing in New York City. At the point that I met him, I had already been spending hours asking people to sing. He was literally the last person I met that day. And he was the first and only person to improvise his own song.

I have Bipolar disorder and with the meds I take, I can’t drink more than literally 2 drinks or I’ll be feeling all outta sorts….but whatever….whether he was or wasn’t, that was a great performance. When Country said you get busy and I’m just going go with you. I thought there was hope. However, I did not expect so many profound lines to be dropped like that. I really felt it when he said, “and now I do not know, cause I’m so confused, and I do not know what to do” The share honesty and exhaustion in this delivery was written all over his face and body language. But then he catches sight of the violinists and picks up the tempo again. I loved the spontaneity, honesty and the abundance of natural talent concealed.
