Thanks for the inspiration. However, I have been playing guitar for nearly 60 years. I used to be in a couple of rock bands back in the 1960’s. Don’t give up on scales and just work on solos. Even though I know my scales backwards and forwards I work on my speed and clarity of notes. I never get bored. I enjoy your videos very much. God bless.

"Wonderful Tonight" is a great song. Like many great songs, it managed to capture a very particular and relatable emotion. Just as an "encore", Eric's intro solo in Phil Collins' "I Wish It Would Rain Down" is also another great little gem.

Nicely done. By the way, Paul McCartney played the lead guitar solo (and also the drums) on Back in the USSR. As you mentioned, Paul played lead on several Beatle songs, including Good Morning Good Morning, Ticket to Ride, Another Girl and Taxman.

Very nice video, it is great to see that you clearly enjoy your music. At 7:07 some fans of Australian Crawl may argue that the guitar phrasing for Unpublished Critics (1981) was just as lovely - and maybe "more" original - than GnR.

Pretty accurate, but maybe you miss John Frusciante's solo on "can't stop" - Just a couple of bends (like 80% of his solos) and still sounds cool
