A good buddy of mine has the A3R, fantastic guitar, and a great instrument for gigging with. The SRT system is great. I have two vintage L-Series Yamaha's. Yamaha is perhaps my favorite Brand. They can and do produce a good product, consistently. There is a lot of hype over the new FG9, and while it is a great guitar, people have the misperception that the FG9 is their most expensive and flagship model. Again, misperception! Yamaha has been producing super high end L-Series guitars for years. I have played the FG9, I think the LL36 is right there with it! I haven't been lucky enough to play a LL56, and probably won't. But I can assume with confidence that it is an exceptional guitar (also more expensive than the FG9, lol). Thanks for vids Jarvis, always good stuff!

No Martin sounds this good. Ill have to get one to go along with my LL36 and this has the softer bass the LL36 has much more resonance and treble and mids. I think this may be my perfect James Taylor sound.

I just played an A5R back to back with a an A3R. They felt and played almost identically, the 3 sounded awesome but the 5 was a bit more articulate, smelled better and had that killer hard case. The build quality is exceptional on both of them. I bought the 5 and couldn't be happier. My first Japanese Guitar.

I chose the A5R over the AC5R because it was loud, articulate and sweet. No experience with the other model but this A5R I have, is the best sounding dread I've ever played. In person it's bigger sounding than the video shows.

Size wise is this alot bigger than the AC5R? Im 6ft2 and Im used to concert size bodies. Worried the AC5 is going to feel uncofortable for my picking arm/shoulder in that higher position.

@@Joe-m6p6b you have to listen to both clips back and forth on my channel .. FG are the entry level guitars with scalloped braces so it won’t be very clear in the trebles

@@Joe-m6p6b LL16 sounds way much better and responsive than the A series’s which i feel are braced too heavy so you need to dig deeper in the strumming to get the tone out like some one just put a hand at the sound hole ..
