Honestly I still hope Ding decides to not participate at the WCC and let someone like Fabi play who would likely win against Gukesh. Especially Fabi or even Ian and Hikaru deserve the title more than Gukesh

I'm young myself so I cheer for young players but it does not feel deserved. It would also be a shame if fabi would never be world champion because he is undoubtedly the closest to magnus anyone has ever been

You don't just deserve the world championship award, you have to earn it. It's gonna be either Gukesh or Ding. Talking about Ian, he failed to beat Ding and Gukesh gonna be a rightfully challenger as he won the candidate. Fabi, Hikaru, Ian couldn't and had many chances.
