In my opinion, the dialogues u disliked were true for households....I am not saying that you told wrong but in homes, they dont always follow things knowing the reason but because it has been done in there houses from before. Similarly for the 2nd dialogue, theoretically its correct but practically, people do pray more during their tough times.
