@@chriscard6544 that’s a good one, Chris. It can actually be a little more finicky than Palladium, so it’s a good place to start. You’ll be an expert by the time you get to Palladium.

@@BillSchwab I have an issue happening in the fix bath, some white stains. I assume they come from tap water because in winter we import water from the lake with a lots of added chlorine.

Hi Bill, what do you think about Printmaker's Friend as an alternative to ammonium bichromate? Can that be used over palladium? Thanks
@BillSchwab21 күн бұрын
@bifcake i’ve been experimenting with it and it is a potentially good alternative. It’s a very nice process in itself, but it takes a bit more time than palladium and gum. You get into periods or you have to wait overnight for things to dry, etc. However, it will work.I just need more time with it.

@@BillSchwab Do you have to do it with multiple layers or can you do it with a single layer, the way you do it with gum?
@BillSchwab20 күн бұрын
@@bifcake Yes, you can do single layers. It's a very nice proiduct in its own right as well, it just needs a little eperience as with most processes.

@@BillSchwab Thanks! Much appreciated. Oh, one more question, if you don't mind: How do you know which pigment and how much of it to use?
