Also the part when gumball use the summon of his friends causing the game console fall into the void is based on Knights of the Round/Ultimate End, the most Powerful Summon in Final Fantasy VII along with the game console final form being based on a mixed between Sephiroth Final form Safer Sephiroth and Ultimecia, the main Villain and also first main Villain to be female from Final Fantasy VIII btw.
