"The Bus" is one of my favorite episodes. I love how Gumball is the only smart one for a change, Rob is becoming a real threat, and the climax is just epic.

The climax of “The Bus” I feel is a great example of showcasing how Gumball tends to have the most surprisingly cinematic action sequences I think I’ve ever seen in a cartoon, especially one that is a comedy. And we’ve seen them pull off great action sequences before in previous episodes, especially with the car chases, but something about the climax here especially feels like you’re watching the third act of a big blockbuster movie. It puts all the other sequences they’ve done in the past episodes into perspective. They’re so, for lack of a better word “Amazing”. Stuff like that is what makes Gumball one of the very few cartoons where I feel cheated out of watching it on my TV. The sequences this show has managed to pull off make me feel like I should be going to my local cinema to watch a new episode.

The funny thing about the scream at 17:29 is that Gumball's voice actor at the time, Jacob Hopkins, has gone on record saying that they only did one take for that scream because he did it so loudly it actually hurt his voice. He actually doesn't think he could ever recreate it again because of this.

My opinion on the episodes: The Points - It's an alright episode, but I like the video game fight at the end. The Bus - Honestly, I love this episode. The concept, the execution, the humor, everything. Who knew an episode all about the bus would be so good? Also, it's good to see the show remember Rob exists. The Night - This is the most insane episode yet. Purely because there are no rules when it comes to an episode about people's dreams. The episode doesn't have to make sense. Anyway, lots of nightmare fuel here. The Misunderstanding - I kinda feel like this episode just doesn't have much to it. I know it starts with Gumball being an idiot and it ends with Gumball being an idiot, but the meat of this episode is just a whole bunch of random stuff. Of course, this isn't a bad thing because the whole bunch of random stuff is quite funny.
