Husky Protects Herself After Hard Collision with a GSD

Today my Husky, Neveah, was running around and a German Shepherd ran full speed at her and collided with her. She probably thought she was being attacked and protected herself. A couple other dogs bit her while she was playing with my other dog Winston and she responded similarly. As you will see, vocal commands can stop dogs from fighting. Neveah, responds to my whistle and voice commands.
This video exists in order to educate people about dog behavior at dog parks.

Ruff day at the park for Neveah !! Scruffed and tumbled, twisted and bumped, weed upon and double teamed she put up with the whole gamut of dog shenanigans!! But how brilliantly measured were her corrections and response! Bravo floofy girl 😊😊. Love to Winston & dad x

Nevaeh had an eventful day -targeted multiple times! She sorted out all disputes (put the dogs in their place) then ran to you with the usual innocent smile on her face lol. That little shar pei gremlin at that end was v cute. Couldn't work out if it was a pup or crossed with a bully breed and small.

If Naveah wanted to attack the German Shepherd, she would have. No blood, no fowl. Dogs communicate with their mouths and facial expressions. Not every disagreement ends up in a fight.

Nevaeh was furious with the silly GSD for running full pelt into her... Do you ever get the owners of these dogs approaching you about Neveah? These dogs are just doing what they do best - being dogs. And Neveah and Winston both have excellent social skills and are so good at putting down their boundaries while not going over the top or being disrespectful of the other dog. They "speak dog" very well! But I would be so anxious at a dog park if my doggo nipped or barked at another dog that the other owner would get upset with me. It always seems like at this park all the owners are pretty understanding and chill and happy for their dogs to just "talk". Do you ever have bad experiences here?

"Do I ever have bad experiences here"? Not really. People are respectful and keep to themselves. When dangerous behavior happens it is usually a youngster or a senior citizen who triggered it/allowed it/failed to prevent it, and they move on, quickly. The good experiences so much outweigh the bad experiences.

...just your normal big doggo rough play...WWF at its best!!...my guys always do that...esp my malamute...like huskies they always SOUND aggressive bit its just their normal vocalizing...same as Winstons big loud "HAROOOO....HOW'D YOU DO"...my brindle ridgymix does that exact same voice!!...love watchin those speedsters do zoomies...felt sorry for the little brown dude with stumpy little legs...he sure tried to keep up with those crazy huskies tho!!...& the collies are pretty speedy & rough with their play tactics too...my 72lb Beardiemix Hettie the Yeti gives her bigbro Ozzy the malamute at 110lbs a run for his money...& she does that extremely loud collie voice too...all the better for scarin the shite out of those poor sheepies!!...love that fuzzy Sharpei lookin mix at the end...looks like a giant teddybear!!...luv these vids...could watch doggos playin all day...just the smiles we all need atm with all the sad images of those poor people & their pets in Ukraine...we all need to send tons of good vibes & funds to help all those amazing brave rescue groups over there!!💖🐕🐺🐼🐈🐈💖

She's actually a bit of a jerk. A lot of her reactions are OTP. Personally I would've put her on lead for a bit, maybe giving her some one on one attention, or taken them home after she kept over reacting to other dogs wanting to get in on the fun.
