SirEmekalo If you feel like answering me, then please; How long have you been studying Japanese? Any hints you might give me? A method to study it? I am doing it only using Android market apps so far (and they are not bad whatsoever)

Gandeloft Well in the first place I started with some apps too (TenguGo Kana and TenguGo Kanji), the kana app was fine, but I don't think the kanji one helped much, I was not enable to memorize the kanjis one by one for a long period of time if I wasn't using them. So I started trying read some light novels and also getting the kanjis from videos. In the beginning I would take hours to complete one page and the thing is I don't know the exactly stroke order (but that is almost always a pattern so you don't need to remind it either) but now I can recognize them because the context of the musics and light novels I've been reading so far. Also animes, they help alot if you are into them, try watching some raw and focus on what they are saying and then watch it subtitled. In the end you must find the method that works better for you so if the apps been working so far just stick with it. For recognizing kanjis I don't know I often use: jisho.org/ translate.google.com/#ja/en/ (If you cant find on jisho using radicals, you can draw it on google and them search on jisho, don't trust google translation as kanjis often have more than one meaning.) And for compounds: en.wiktionary.org/wiki/ I'm studying japanese for 2 years and I'm in JLPT N3.

There's a faster way for looking up Kanji, if you go on google extensions look up a thing called rikai-kun, it's fabulous.
