I can't help but think this game would have ended 10 minutes earlier if Gumiho had spent just a few seconds to land some of his command centres and resume mining. He spent way too long not mining when he easily could have been. Otherwise, amazing game.

All of them made some mistakes. I think if showtime made a stargate instead of a nexus near the end he couldve won

Every time you think you have game of the year, hold onto it with plans to release it at the end of December and then every time you find a game BETTER then that release the first one and hold onto the new one. Then only replace that one with one thats better, rinse repeat. This way you always have a better game of the year up your sleeve.

"Game of the year" means its better than the previews game of the year, but it leaves an opening into the future, to find a better game taking the crown from this game and being called "game of the year" Thats why there are so many games of the year, only in christmas will we know what was really the game of the year

Hey lowko wanted to suggest a lotv mod in ggg called legacy of the purifiers i thought it was very fun with new challenges each mission and it adds enemys from previous planets to future missions depending on where you go ie if you choose to see vorazun first then youll have extra zerg from shakuras when you go to korhal with raynor and ect.

I am hoping that this tournament as a whole, has opened peoples eyes to the potential nerf to Terran. I know I am a Zerg fanboy, but Terran has too many tools for every situation that is very effective.

Agreed; Protoss needs a better comeback mechanic in the early game, equal to Terran trading scans for mules and Zerg's larva mechanic being able to mass drone. When not being harassed Protoss can get to 200 supply of probes faster than the other races, but they need a way to get back into the game if they take a bad run-by. Maybe killing a probe in a nexus power field gives that nexus extra energy for a chrone? As for Zerg, they need a late-game unit rework. They're way too caster-dependent, which makes the whole setup too fragile. Maybe give Hive-tech upgrades to the hydra and baneling, similar to how lings get Adrenal Glands, and give the Ultra something like a permanent Microbial Shroud like effect, so they can have lings and banes go "under" them and be protected from splash damage? In exchange, nerf Vipers by having abduct not work on motherships and BCs at all, and only pull halfway for carriers and Tempests..

@@user-nh2bf4to7g You propose a lot of interesting ideas. I don't really know what you could do for the Hydra or baneling. I kind of disagree with the nerf to the Viper, the mothership is surrounded by units and airtoss, and easily countered by feedback which has a higher range than abduction. It would only just make the deathball that much harder to penetrate. As for BC's they aren't seen very often and they already get insane value with their ability to teleport out to heal. Normally instead of abduction that kills them, it is neural parasite. I wouldn't want to increase their value even further. The ultra idea, sounds extremely interesting, but couldn't you just keep an ultra on hold position with your hydras/lurkers to reduce damage from tanks/marines etc?
