Koreans in the 90s/2000s were racist hypocrites (and some are still active today, unfortunately) they are okay with full born Koreans who does cultural appropriation and saying the N word, but they draw the line of seeing an actual, existing black person - let alone, a Korean mixed with another race that isn't white for once? I feel sorry for what this gal had to go through. To be honest, when I first saw her, I didn't know she is actually blasian, so I can see she might have faced race erasure in the past too because no one let her embrace her African heritage more and the company wanting to make her look more Korean-passing. She came along way now, and South Korea is becoming more diverse now and is still progressing.

I'm half Black and half Korean just a little younger than her and felt more discrimination and racism from Black people in the US than I did from Koreans.

@@tiffm3110 I'm sorry to hear that. I don't understand how and why the POC community are racist towards each other inside the community. We're all supposed to be in this together against our actual oppressors/dominant group who started it all and led to all of us being divided. I've faced racism from black people too, but I'm scared that when I called them out for being one, the system will easily gaslight me and side with them over me, a Latino. 🙄
