This is really pretty in the white linen card and the gold pieces used behind do make it look as though you have layered it on the gold Deb. The layering of the mats and the second embossed into the card is so elegant and pretty and the gold shadow behind the sentiment to complement the rest is perfect...a really beautiful card and Chrissie will love it. x

This card suits Chris beautifully! I really like the embossed frame border and subtle use of gold. And somehow, I've completely forgotten I have a punch board. I used to enjoy making custom envelopes, so will have to dig it out. I have a lot of scrapbooking papers that are collecting dust that I can put to good use. 😉I'm sure Chris will love this card! 🩷

@@DJMHallett Me too! I have a LOT of Christmas patterned paper that would be perfect for the envelopes. I never seem to get rid of anything in the craft room. 🤣 Styles change, but some things come back around or can be used in other ways. Took me almost an hour to find my punch board, but I'm definitely getting back into custom envelopes. Thanks so much for reminding me! 🩷

You and Christine are so inspiring. This card is so clean, simple, stunning, and elegant. She's going to love it. I have that little tree and haven't used it yet. I sometimes forget that dies cut the reverse of what I think it is! Silly really. My scoreboard has an envelope maker attachment that detaches from the back. I rarely use it except for cards that are too large to fit in regular size envelopes. Generally, if my US A2 card is too bulky to fit in the A2 envelope, I'll use an A6 Euro envelope and it works good enough for me.
