Ok so. Two years have passed but whatever. I'll write this anyway. So, many people are confused by ggz story and what the fuck is this DLC. And so am i. And this is understandable since ggz was translated poorly into english, the gameplay was shitty imo and now we don't even have an english version since global server and SEA server both closed so we only have JP and CN. And there's like a lot of events so it's confusing to understand the order. So i tried to read the stories through videos, and sites that has the game dialogues and so far i didn't manage to figure all the plot out but at least one part of it. But i can at least see the main questions i see about ggz: 1-is ggz somehow connected to hi3? From what i got barely. What many people know about ggz is the ending of the first part where kiana becomes God Kiana then kills everyone and ends the world. But then many people think that the world resets into hi3's. Instead while the world does resets, It resets into the rebirth world, which is the 2nd arc. So yeah cause people know there's a reset and hi3 and ggz share some characters with same names and appearences often confuse and think hi3 is a reset of ggz. Instead hi3 is an alternate universe where things end up veeeery differently so basically ggz plot is not essential to hi3's. 2-who's kyuushou? So while hi3 and ggz have lots of characters in common (both characters originating from ggz and then come to hi3 but also the opposite), but also some exclusive ones. The most notable is kyuushou, in fact many people wonder who is she and interested in her. From what i got after the reset kyuushou was somehow given Herrscher Kiana and Herrscher Mei stigmata (don't know precisely why and how, i think it's like some A.I. who chose her but still i haven't figured this all out) in order to prevent another honkai tragedy to happen again and to this timeline's Kiana to become a herrscher. Kyuushou often sees visions from when God Kiana ended the world and to cope she developped a chunnibyou personality where she's the "saviour" destined to save the world. Then rebirth arc starts and the nagazora catastrophe happens and kiana saves kyuushou (which had to be saved as per schicksal's orders) and mei. So a bit passes and mei and kyuushou train in Schicksal. Here Cecilia, which is alive in this timeline, and Welt (Which is not Welt Yang but more like Welt Joyce) explain the want to use Kyuushou and Mei to turn Kiana into an Herrscher but Kyuushou uses the core of the 2nd herrscher on her. However she doesn't become the Herrscher of the Void but a creature made of Honkai who didn't managed to become a Herrscher. They defeat her and she's now on a comatose state risking to die. This leads us to 3rd question 3-When does Fire Moth DLC take place? Basically while in a coma Mei and Kiana stigmata create a stigmata place in Kyuushou's mind. So basically Fire Moth world is a dream world set in alternative verse where God Kiana didn't truly kill everyone but instead a small percentage of humanity survived and created a resistance group called fire Moth. So after the dlc Kyuushou wakes up and She managed to live despite her body being in a complicated situation. They managed to remove the stigmata from her body so she doesn't have 2nd herrscher powers anymore, but in order to survive Welt gave her his 1st herrscher core so yeah, in this timeline Kyuushou is the 1st herrscher and has taken the hi3's bronya route. And that's about it. Probably i've been overly long and this is but a fraction of ggz lore but i hope i was of use (if someone will even see the vid)

@@StigmataRealm09 also Genshin is one of the bubble universes within the Sea of Quanta. From how both stories played out, I can guess both HI3 and Genshin stories runs at the same time. HI3 shows the connection in chapter 17, while Genshin gives more lore.

@@vanessachowjiaying4423 The interesting thing is, the travelers did mention at the very beginning of the game that they've been travelling in between "worlds", which could be bubble universes from within the Sea Of Quanta, or OUTSIDE. It's possible that the "Unknown Goddess" we see in the beginning of Genshin doesn't come from the SOQ, but from a parallel universe to the HI3 one, a different HOV or HOtE which has access to multiple different worlds, like the twins do. (ref to Einstein's brief explanation of the SOQ before Bronya enters it, infinite parallel universes means infinite possibilities)

Not really a happy ending... this dlc is just a part of Kyuusho's dream because Kiana and Mei stigmas are placed inside of her body hence creating the "dreamscape" and when Kyuushou wakes up, it's the start of new story, Reborn story iirc in which neither Kiana or Mei will become Herrschers because their stigmas are now inside Kyuushou's body.
