FOLLOWING IMMORAL LAWS IS IMMORAL
@thefreeman87914 жыл бұрын
And one of the things that people do not understand is that the US constitution actually got the 2A from the VA state constitution which predates the US constitution. Jefferson and Madison were from VA so they paraphrased their own state constitution a lot. But the VA version of the 2A even took it farther. It explicitly states that the people of any state have the right to kick out any militia or army or government force that they deem a threat to their liberty at the point of a gun if they want to. So any idea that the Founders expected us to not be as well armed as the military is absurd when where they got the 2A from in the first place expects the people to chase out any military or government body that they don't want in their state in the first place. You can't expel a military force with just a pitchfork and kitchen knife.
@thefreeman87914 жыл бұрын
@Logical Means I agree that the Constitution is being eroded. However, it was never supposed to be the law of the land. The founders talked about it as "a compact between the states" not as the law of the land. That is important. Why? Because what is spelled out in the Constitution was not ever supposed to be the law of the land. If there were a convention of states and it became dominated by a bunch of leftists then you could bet your bottom dollar that it would be used to get rid of the 2A. Does that mean that you and I have to surrender our guns? No. Why? Because what is enumerated in the Bill of Rights is not the law of the land but a list of our God given rights that supersede any government. The Founders were not stupid enough to trust that a federal authority would not become despotic and tyrannical and that is what the bill of rights is. It is an acknowledgement of yours and mine God given rights not a spelling out of what our rights are.

If the protest had gone from morning to evening then I could see more people’s minds being changed. I’m not saying the rally was bad. Some people just wander around in a false reality, false sense of security, “oh that won’t happen to me” type of deal. I’d love to hear the truth man. My best friend of 24 years lives in VA Beach, I’ll see what he has too say for his area as well. Gotta be rough for him, he came from up here where firearm ownership is just a way of life. People won’t even notice half the time or won’t say a word if they walk into your house and you have a shotgun or rifle up against the wall in the corner. I literally can’t comprehend how tough it must be for you folks down there, I just can’t imagine. I’d be losing a huge part of who I am and our entire state wouldn’t be the same, it’s just so ingrained in our communities up here. Knock on wood that we haven’t had any major shooting. Although here it wouldn’t make news because it wouldn’t become a MASS shooting. We have armed citizens, you don’t need a permit to carry a concealed weapon, that person would not last long whatsoever. We also have strong knit communities and someone would act selflessly with or without a weapon to protect their communities. It’s harder to do that in bigger cities and states with 3 times the population, not everyone is as connected just because of the shear size and numbers of citizens. Obviously I’m not saying they aren’t tight knit as well. Where there’s bad guys, there’s also people that would sacrifice themselves for their neighbor

My state (Oregon) has had "Universal Background Checks" for years. Its annoying as hell because the transfer fee can be whatever the shop wants since now you HAVE to use their services. If I buy a gun off the wall at the LGS its 10 bucks, but for a transfer its 20-55 in some shops. Also I sold a long gun to another person private sale, before this law went into effect. Years later I got a call from the FBI asking if I still had it ect. They told me it was seized in a raid with the ATF and FBI a few cities over. I told them I sold it and since I had a bill of sale I made up myself when I sold it, I gave them the buyers info. Sounds like it changed hands a number of times after the guy who bought it from me. But a prime example of how the trace works.

@Random-wo2gs4 жыл бұрын
I'm not Eric but I have a few ideas on the subject. Protests and political activism are critical actions but they will never accomplish the goals we seek. What they will do, however, is garner crucial public attention and support for the cause. If we continue to allow law enforcement agencies/bureaucracies to police their own ranks we can only expect more of the same. The Duncan Lemp case is a prime example. No one will ever be held accountable for his murder because their priorities are the protection of the organization ahead of justice. Take the FBI as another premier example. As long as they are allowed maintain their own internal investigative authority things cannot change. Accountability is necessary in order to protect liberty and there is no such thing as long as the status quo is maintained. Until these organizations fear the people once again, change is not possible. Ultimately, organized resistance will be the necessary action to retake and secure our freedoms. Using the Lemp case as an example once again; if people were to organize and execute a no-knock raid and arrest of the officer who shot him and follow up with a public tribunal where he was treated in the same manner any average criminal would be, then a very clear message would be sent to all wanna be authoritarian tyrants... This is OUR country!

The second amendment is more important now than our forefathers ever expected but this is exactly why we have it and in my book if your a us citizen it's our duty to protect all our rights. The government works for us, some of the Dems these seem to believe we work for them.

Another dangerous aspect of the mandatory reporting of lost or stolen firearms is that if you decide to hide your guns somewhere and use the old "I lost them in a boating accident" line, they can say "Why didn't you report them missing?", so they can get you even if they can't prove you have guns in your possession.

Thank you for putting this video out. This is something that needs to be out in the open and spoken about in a public forum. It is REDICULOUS to think that during this time of WORLDWIDE crisis, some of our government "Appointed Officials" are taking advantage of this time to push their agenda! "Don't let a good crisis go to waste" This is definitely the point that I see happening currently.

I live in northern NY state (St. Lawrence County) and our gun laws are ridiculous. I applied for my pistol permit October 16th, 2019 and it's still going through the process. It takes about a year in this county to go through the whole process and get your carry permit. For a long time concealed carry wasn't an option in my county but that was under the conditions of the previous judge. Concealed carry will be allowed now but you have to take a firearms safety course which I have no problem doing. I just started watching your channel and I enjoy it very much. Thanks guys!

in the state of michigan every time you buy a handgun you have to turn in an "application and license to purchase a pistol" AFTER you purchase said pistol within 30 days. this form includes the name and address of both the buyer and seller, the model of the firearm, as well as the serial number, caliber, and exterior dimensions. now if that is not a registration i dont know what is

Already a subscriber here and your efforts are always appreciated. You’re misinterpreting the piece about local law enforcement and enforcement of the new laws. There is a common misconception that State Police are the “top cops” in any state. Local Sheriffs are actually “higher ranking” in every case. The Sheriff is an elected official and therefore has more power than the Chief of any State Police. The reason this law now exists is because they’re trying to remove the effectiveness of local law enforcement refusing to enforce tyrannical laws. Northam is literally forcing these laws down our throats in VA. He is attempting to remove any barricade to getting his laws enacted and enforced.

So you can carry concealed to that red light, once you get past that light you can only open carry, after you get out of that town there is no open carry and you can’t have a loaded gun in a vehicle....See any problems here?
