Gun Review: Smith & Wesson M&P 15-22

Today we review the Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22. This gun was a lot of fun to shoot, although it did jam on us a lot. That’s why there was such little shooting in the video. To be fair to the gun, it hadn’t been cleaned in a while and that’s always one of, if not, the main reason a gun jams. That and the type and quality of ammo you buy.
Other than that, I really enjoyed shooting it. We were at about 35-40 yards away and it was shooting on a dime.

I switched out my extractor also,aint had a jam since. Added a red dot , single point sling, a mp knife that attaches to it...all kinds of shit🤣🤣but hands down my fav fun to shoot!!

With mine The magazine had to be loaded correctly as to the way the bullets were stacked also seemed to work better with cci with 1250 or better velocity

Okay I’ll definitely be trying that when I take it out again! I appreciate the thought 🫡 I’ll see if maybe I’m loading the magazine a little offset

Add a Volquartsen extractor and likely your failures will cease. If it's FTF then perhaps also upgrade the firing pin from Volquartsen as many have done both and the problems were eliminated

Out of battery means when the bolt doesn’t fully close. The rifle kept jamming and staying open; therefore not IN battery
