@@persmestari Find me a player that is capable of doing 1CC in these games on CRT, and isn't someone obviously biased with IR light gun tech for obscure reasons like you are, and I'd gladly put it to the test with that person 😉 I've always been very open to discussing my tech, as well as its strengths and weaknesses. This system is fully DIY, has been available for more than 3 years now, with a humble user base of a few thousands, and anybody can easily build a gun and stress test the tech, criticize it or make video of how well/bad it works. I have nothing to hide here, and surely nothing to prove. Believe me or not, you do you.

Anyone is free of talking about anything on my lightgun as long as they DID try it themselves, and I don't have a saying in what they show or don't, or what video they make. If the latency was any bad, do you think with all my users someone wouldn't have pointed it out already? You start sounding very insulting to me and my users now. You haven't tested the system yourself, nor did any research or reading on why other IR systems are laggy and inaccurate, and on why I hated them and decided to make a system that doesn't suck, so you obviously have no idea of what you are talking about. And you don't seem to want to know anyway, you're just here to hate on the system, not do anything useful about it. So I'll stop the discussion here, it's obviously going nowhere.

I would LOVE to have one of these to play some Virtua Cop,Time Crisis,Lethal Enforcers etc.... Unfortunately it is a bit too pricey for me. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it is overpriced it is well worth the money to have the ultimate lightgun compatible with so many different games/emulators on a modern TV. Maybe one day I'll be able to get one.

I wish I'd known more about gun4ir before I invested in 2x Sinden recoil guns. I do like them, but the setup requirements are pretty intense.

Original Jurassic park game from Sega is on the DX. Sega system 32 game board. Last sprite based board Sega made. Same one they used for Spider-Man the video game and Golden Axe The Revenge of Death Adder! Guessing this gun will be mega twitchy on the Pandora as it's probably just emulating a mouse's pointer. Still very cool but you have to use your hands? That's like a baby's toy! 😂

Too bad you can't configure the Gun to a Phone then Screen Cast it to the your TV still using those attachments. Cause there's Mame Emulator on Android that games like Lethal Enforcer you could play.

Sadly afaik android doesn't support any lightgun input, even generic ones like we are using. It'd be awesome for Android boxes tho, so I hope one day it will change.

How ironic that the 'Sinden' wiki had to be used to take things further. I didn't realise that the only places to shop now are Amazon and Aliexpress. What a mess of cables there was in the box and with all those sticky pads, it looks like a hodgepodge of connectivity. And then we get to the price! It wasn't mentioned how much was paid for this custom mod. If this was the 'BEST' as the title refers, why has it not been compared to the main competitor, who first came up with the concept for use with modern monitors in the first place. I'm afraid that my bovine waste indicator was on high alert for this one and it came across more like an advert than a review.

Honestly we paid around $200 for the mod alone, and the place to get it- AFAIK only on their website. Aliexpress and Amazon will be the clone merchants who stole the tech straight from JB who came up with this. I could explain why it's better than the Sinden, but it'd be very close. Sinden you'd need to place a bright white border as an overlay. GUN4IR works without the need for that, but you'd have the 4 lights in the corners, but with the wires in the back (which can be hidden) - so in this case, it'd be more preference. We'd be happy to put them side by side, but frankly we don't have the money to shell out for every product on the market. We'd be glad to make a video comparing them if you'd send us one- but these videos already exist.
