Wonky character animation aside, MS Igloo had some of the best action sequences in all of the Gundam. And "Shinsyutsu-su!" is among my favorite tracks.

@@MarkzOng i wish it was larger than Igloo, it deserved it but sadly it wasn't. The character animation of both Igloo and Requiem is Bad lol, what shines in both is Mobile Suit Combat, and Requiem isnt far behind Igloo for that matter

Literally the only thing objectively bad about MS Igloo is the human facial aniamation which is understandable due to when this was made, but man the MS suits on earth and especially in space are something else, so swift and natural while still moving with such a mechanical weight to them, so heavy yet so fast. They made a supertank drift for Christ’s sake and it looked actually feasible

小説版だとコアブースターのパイロットは、落とされた艦の復讐のため、ゼーゴックの乗り手に苦しみを味あわせながら◯すためにすぐに撃ち落とさなかった的なことが書いてあった気がします

なんでコントロールＭＳにズゴックを使ったんだろうな。作戦終了後にもっと高速で飛べる航空機のように仕立てておけば連邦の犬どもに捕捉されずに逃げ切れただろうに。

ズゴックが採用された理由については、水陸両用MSとしての気密性や装甲の堅牢性及びジェネレーター出力の高さだけでなく、他の水陸両用MSには無い、水中・大気中でも稼動可能なハイブリッド・エンジンを搭載していたことによるものである。 計画当初は別の機体(恐らくゲルググ)を使用する予定だったらしいが、当時は殆どの地上拠点を失っているため、使い道のなくなった水陸両用MSを再利用した後述の『使い捨て』兵器の方向性へと舵を切ったものと思われる。 このような事情からか、ゼーゴックそのものはMSに分類される模様。(wiki)

まんまと演出にはめられてるんだろうが、あの丸っこい機体でさほど速度出せないだろうなと思ってる所にまんまと連邦機が迫ってきたとき、もう胸が締め付けられるようで見ちゃおれんかった

zeon patheticly made another weird prototype with terrible shape so it cant fly on atmosphere without using pure brute force from its thruster and and only ended up becoming another weird invention! ah yes, thats comes from faction that cant even made proper fighter jet for operation on earth, no wonder

To be fair, it's literally just a leftover Z'gok slapped onto a booster then strapped to a weapon drop pod to act as guidance and targeting. The Gaw at the end was only there to retrieve the pilot, 50/50 whether everything else was going back to orbit or pushed out the bay doors into the ocean since Zeon had basically zero Earth presence at this point.
