I love the Barbatos so much, I would not be lying if I said that this Gundam was the one that got me into the franchise. Seeing this build has made me want to get a second one so that way I can have a nicely painted version with all it's armor on and use the one I currently have to display the inner frame. I would like to get some tips in and tricks on how I can have a nice painted version of my absolute favorite Gundam, I probably not do the leds though for im not that skilled a modeler yet.

I love the Gundam Barbatos and was excited to see them release a MG. I have only recently got back into the hobby of model building since the early 2000's. Been wanting to learn to paint models and happened to come across your channel checking out what many youtubers do with their models. I love what you have done with this model and look forward using your tips with my Barbatos. Think I am gonna do a few tests on some of my older HG models. Some I have yet to assemble. I used to do gunpla back in like 2001, think I did like 8 total. Kinda fizzled out and I forgot about the hobby. Fast forward to 2020 and pandemic - my kids asked me what I used to do when I couldn't go out. "Well, I when I didn't feel like going out I was working on small 'robot models'" - easiest way to explain it without going full story mode. They thought it was cool and we started talking about the series and the mechs. I was gifted a HG Wing Gundam Zero from my oldest and it reignited the flame. Barbatos was my first ever MG and it was a blast to build. Looks nowhere as great as yours but I'm pulling a lot of inspiration on painting.

I just got into GunPla after being a Gundam fan for easily over a decade. I was timid at first because of how complex they look so I started with a Bael HG model, then built a Tallgeese HG model. This is the one I want to build next and watching this made me want it even more. I especially want to use led now.

@@remyc-g6571 Honestly he has plenty of personality. But its indeed, in what he lacks. dont forget these are child soldiers. He just found it easier to just do what orga wants, and not be too fussy about what this is. In other words, he foudn that as long as he destroyed whatever was in front of him, he moved forward. now he has some stuff that rounds him out, he found an interest in reading but also dropepd it since it didnt really help him as it did the others. and an interest in gardening..but once his body failed him without barbatos.. that wasnt really an option anymore. you can compare him to a CEO that gets consumed by his work, he found his niche and it only got deeper. that niche just happens to me murdering the ever living fuck out of whats against him.

I was so excited when they released gundam ibo and based the gundam names from solomon's demons. According to the lore there should've been 72 gundams same with number of demons but they only showed a few. Including those that were not shown on the anime. Wish they would release more

It's likely a lot of them could have been destroyed in the Calamity war they fought in, or Bandai is just working on another series based on IBO and didn't want to play all their cards too quickly

this looks amazing. Very glad I found your channel. you are one of the few gunpla builders ive seen weathering the models and it goes a huge distance in making it them look better. I did ask another modeler this question and he gave his answer so i want to ask it again. Why no washing or edge highlighting? (I come from a 40k background and it seems most of us over wash and edge highlight to the nth degree) also where do you get your LEDs? Great job again!

This is an epic build with epic LED placement! Unfortunately it will probably be the only one where you can fit so many LEDs as the other variants of barbatos do not have that many sections you can light up. Nice choice of colors and nice paint work my dude!

The first Master Grade Kit I ever built was the Dynames, I absolutely was floored when I saw Barbatos' Master Grade on HLJ's twitter feed and became so excited. Then I saw the Option set and got even more excited (until I watched a review for it that is :/ nature of the beast I guess) But I honestly pray to God Gundam they make the Lupus and Lupus Rex
