Not a review, but a happy Gunpla amateur's look at a completed Master Grade kit from the Gundam Build Divers Gimm & Ball's World Challenge web novel.

My favorite mobile suit in the series, but black. Bandai was genius on making an already mostly undergated kit a dark plastic

If you wanna bring out the detail in your models, a touch of Molotow Liquid Chrome in key areas can make some details really pop. It's tricky stuff to work with, and it can be a bit pricey, but it is so worth it. Not only for the effect it can give, but also how long a single marker can last you. I've detailed 20+ kits on a single marker. I find it especially useful on parts of the inner frame that are visible through small vents in the armor.

Yeah I've used GSI Gundam Marker EX Chrome on some of my models (like the ankle & elbow pistons on my Stormbringer) which has the same Alclad-quality near-mirror sheen as well as a large selection of other products from their lineup to add minor detail and break up blocks of gray frame. I didn't specifically call out all of the little paint & ink apps on this particular kit, but I do want to preserve most of the subtlety that drew me to it. I recently got a different gunmetal that I'll use for the hydro lines on the forearms and a few other spots too. Soon my paint booth will be set up and full recolors of some upcoming kits will begin.
