This is one very nice kit. Lots of details, anime-accurate colors, and a tough, powerful-looking design. And the snap-on fingers grip the weapons well.

Its good thing that Bandai added shield, combat knife and beam sabre as those add that extra something to this kit. They didn't have to but they did.

Anyone thinking at the part where vegeta is opening up the cockpit, there's a face on Heavyarm's upper body, and the two vulcan shoulder cannons are the eyes, and the cockpit hatch is the mouth?

@TekkaSage The Tallgeese is designed by Katoki in the first place, and in EW the Tallgeese III's body body doesn't change, and in the new Glory of the Losers manga (which is what these new MG seem to be following) the Tallgeese looks the same, so I don't think an alternate version was designed. I really hope we get a MG Tallgeese I/II/III though!

awesome kit. mine just arrived today with MG Deathscythe. other 3 ew suits are on order. vegeta part 2 can you display all 5 main wing ew suits together?? that be so cool to see.

@Coruptin Actually, I personally feel the model is fine as is, and as such, no, of course I wouldn't expect someone to re-engineer something as complex as the inner frame. Frankly, I don't feel there's any need; at most, maybe just scribe some extra details on it. No, I'm talking more about all the more cosmetic points he mentioned, as well as the joint strength issues. These things are easily addressed with a little glue, paint, and on occasion, some good old fashioned ingenuity.

Was wondering how the weight of the Heavyarms is compared to the other EW kits.

Master Grades can be kinda tough for someone who's just starting out as a modeler. I originally started on some HG kits before I finally felt comfortable enough to build my first MG, but it really depends on the person in question. Panel-lining is actually a cake-walk; the markers are water-based and you can just wipe them off with your finger, a q-tip, toothpicks, or even an eraser. You could certainly pull it off, but you need to be prepared for a challenge. Just... don't buy one from eBay.

The only thing I was thinking while you opened and closed the cockpit was "om nom nom nom" because I've always thought the chest looks like a face (same with Sandrock's).

@xaayer built the shenlong today under your advice haha. unfortunately snapped part of the V-fin off...wish me luck painting it in a "battle-damaged" theme.

@suiton629 or you could just add super glue on the joint to make it "thicker" so it could be more sturdy...much more simpler and costs less

@suiton629 Well, of course it would have been nice if they'd given us a completely new MG Wing EW instead of just reissuing the kit that came out in 2004... But you have to understand it probably wouldn't have been a winning business move for them. It's a huge investment to create a new kit tooling, and the sales have to justify that. On the flip side, those of us who were modeling back in 2004 can be happy we didn't have to wait another 8 years for a MG Wing ver. Ka and MG WZC...

The "chicken neck" action reminded me of Quagmire going 'gig guh tee". I've got this guy waiting on deck as I finish MG Wing Gundam, and I've got no problems with it not being 100% identical to the TV series, as it looks close enough to me. @suiton629 If you can dream it, you can do it. In other words, if it really matters to you so much that the model improves, then there's no reason why you can't make it better yourself. So what if the kit's not perfect straight out of the box? You can MAKE it perfect. But, if you'd rather wait for Bandai to do it for you, you're going to be waiting for a very long time...

I'm not saying this is a bad kit but why does this version of heavyarms even exist, it looks nothing like the show and please don't rant on how it does cus it doesn't, where would this heavyarms exist in the timeline its like an upgrade and a downgrade of the heavyarms kai which has a twin beam Gatling and yes its weird that it's a beam weapon but that's only on heavyarms kai, to wrap this up I need to know once and for all where did this heavyarms come from ?
