@@IAmInfinitus208 Gundam Reconguista in G did that. Though it's more apparent in motion than just with screenshots. They still used modern CG and particle effects and all that but tried to make the animation and linework look like something done in cel.

The teddy bear scene ingrained in my memory and the only way i'd find this song, one of my favorite childhood song. 20 years really² pass by just like that huh? so close yet so far away (time is strange 🤔)

Mine is a complicated story. I like Sesshomaru from Inuyasha who is voiced by David Kaye. I watched a video where he did the voices for Sesshomaru, Megatron, and Treize. I knew the first two, but who was this Treize? So looked it up and started watching because of him...I stayed for Zechs(as well as the story). It is now one of my favorite anime, no regrets. Sorry for the unnecessary rant.

This and trigun were my first animes I watched when I was a kid. My mom had them on vhs and then later on DVD when it was still new. This opening really takes me back.

I loved waking up early in the morning on saturdays to watch this when i was a kid, and when i got older, it only got better, there's some social, economic, and political themes in there that are still very relevant today. On top of that, the art and story telling still holds up even after so many years have passed. This series holds a special place in my heart for sure, and i'm not even that much of a gundam nut. XD

The synthesizer is lit in this video. You can hear it when you use a high-quality headset. It's so immersive. 90s Japanese music is so unique.

I never watched this Gundam anime but this song still makes me nostalgic. I can really feel that 90`s vibe oozing from this opening.
