Glad he was in freedom but I kind of wish his role grew to be the captain of the Minerva. Hopefully he gets a promotion if they do make a sequel.

​@@Nataku302 his role was too minor in movie maybe because it's only two hours long and the side characters pay the price as a result. If there's a sequel, I hope it's a serie. This way side characters like Arthur Trine, Andrew Waltfeld, Meyrin and many others including newly introduced characters would have enough screen time and character development.

I like that this is approached just like if Arthur was an spectator of the show, "I don't know the answer to that but she looked at your picture a Lot". It truly makes you feel how complicated that situation is. Thanks for the translation!

It's honestly not so much "complicated" as it is "horribly written". How could any mother do that to her son that she supposedly loves? Leave him an orphan so she can die with her ex-boyfriend that didn't even love her that much back?

@JackT718 we don't know how much did talia Loved Durandal, it's a guess you can take because she went for another man to have a son, but how that other Man Made her feel in relation to Gil and how much did she enjoyed her "other life" are stufd we don't know, that's the problem the writing has. We as spectetators don't know enough about Talia. What I mostly mean with conplicated Is that the characters themselves are like we as spectetators that don't know enough about the character herself, and can only guess

They aren't and never were, people just assume they are. Meyrin even makes clear they aren't.
