@@katonbotthen that rate then the show and movie versions of 1979 Gundam are their own alternate routes too. Show version got production issues out of the wazoo but ppl religiously follow it. Movie versions fixed those issues/properly fix pacing with fans say it’s better, origin manga goes more into details with pacing improvements and character developments and fans say that’s better. Aka it doesn’t $&@?ing matter. Might as well say series version g reconguista is superior vs films version despite that pacing and scene choices not great. If tomino himself edits stuff that means he doesn’t take canon seriously from his own creations and allow variants to exist. So why should his loyal fans think the same?

1:06 This is a poor portrayal of Zeon Zum Deikun as in the OG Gundam, he is a good man whose ideals were perverted by the Zabis and a good father to Sayla and Char. Char had to go through all the trouble to avenge his father by taking down the Zabis whom he deem them responsible for the assassination from his perspective.

It was a good thing cutting the Mobile Suit Gundam The ORIGIN OVAs into 25-minute long TV/GundamInfo on KZbin Episodes👍😎 As for this series- it is apparent that the battle for ZEON Rulership is pitted between Kycillia & Gihren- both having their own twisted vision on how the ZEON Principality should be led… *The RALs are also in danger at the mercilessness of the ZABIs As for Casval/CHAR, the events beginning from this up to his clash with Amuro both on the OG Series & CHAR’s Counterattack OVA- must have given justification on Char’s actions back at CCA… As for Artesia Deikun/Sayla Mass & Mineva Lao Zabi/Audrey Burne- Links; they are to bear the weight of the actions done by their ZEON Forefathers, and ensure that what lies ahead of the Universal Century- will never be purged back into its early deadly days, let alone that the future of the UC Timeline will produce another Amuro and Char

For instance, Proto-test type Dom having a beam bazooka already much before Dom getting developed doesn't make sense. Zeon did not have a beam weapon tech for MS developed until around the latter quarter of the one year war.

Kycilia most like did it to get close to Char, in a sense that she made a way to get the Deikuns' trust over the crisis they're experiencing, one way to consolidate power is to establish stronger relations with noble families after all.

Guys I actualy kinda dislike The Origin. It makes the entire universe smaller, suffers from a lot of the same pitfalls as the Star Wars prequels except Char is Anakin, and the only truly exceptional thing about it is the yaoi.
