It’s totally a crap-shoot.. if you shoot straight into the air, then yeah they’re likely to lose velocity, and usually their terminal-free-fall-velocity is not enough to hurt you. But the problem is, he’s not shooting straight up in their air, he’s shootings at like a 50 degree angle 📐 and those bullets are still going to have a lot of velocity/energy whenever they hit what they’re going to hit. It’s better to just NOT shoot guns in the air, to be safe. I have no idea what all is in the area surrounding those apartments, but it’s very likely that those bullets came down and hit cars and houses.

@BlueWarHead Bullets have minimal change in their trajectory when shot in a parabolic, ballistic arch. Those changes are largely only caused by wind pushing them slightly one way or another. Bullets mostly keep their trajectories due to spin stabilization caused by rifling in the barrel (similarly to throwing a football). When fired in an arch, a bullet can then keep large portions of its velocity and therefore still be dangerous/deadly for a very substantial distances. The only way a bullet would completely "lose its trajectory" (short of impacting an object), is if it's fired straight up into the air. Once all it's velocity is dissipated through fighting gravity and wind resistance, the bullet will stall. Once stalled, it can only tumble back to Earth at its terminal velocity due to losing its spin stabilization. And seeing as most bullets don't weigh much, they really aren't that dangerous in this state. If they were to hit someone, at most it would cause a welt, maybe a small laceration. Otherwise it'd ding up any property it might hit. And still, I have no clue what the other guy was trying to get at.

I was in the living room listening to his aunt talk about the 60s and 70s and she was passing me and like 4 different people a huge green-fattie and I didnt know who tf they were expect one was his funny cousin named Demitrueus but he always kept me In the conversation and made it less akward. But his drunk uncle (not stereotyping) literally his drunk uncle came In talking very loud speaking his mind , passing cold ones out the cooler to everyone one but when he came to me he kept asking , "Hold on boy, your not 21 ain't you ? " Nahh nahh foo you not" Then he passed me one laughing all hard said" gotcha young mutha-#&$*!. " And bro I'm so cross fa7ed at this point , I'm just confused and eventually Jahlil (my roommate) came in and asked "Ayye yea fooo, tryna run back to my old ladies house?" I said "sure bro,so before we left I told everyone it was nice to converse with.them all and meeting them " . Then It was a akward silence , His cousins Demitrueus started laughing like a amazon insect at night time Lmao... his auntie said bye young man and so did the uncle . And one of the cousins too. It was love .
