GUNFIRE REBORN TIPS AND TRICKS: NIGHTMARE MODE (SOLO)

After playing a lot more nightmare mode recently I have compiled my top 5 tips that I have for people who want to get that first win, or even just become more consistent. Most of these tips are catered to solo players but these tips are good for runs with any amount of players!

Trying to finish nightmare in under 30 minutes is a real pain in the arse! Best was 32 minutes and got a 30 minute last phase of boat boss. It's my last achievement and I so badly want to be done

Good tips for the nightmare mode. Agreed - it is a totally different cup of tea than elite. Didn't manage to beat it yet. I think the big dog is a good choice - I agree that it can have an insane amount of damage during dual wield, and so many good things can happen parallel while dual wielding (less damage taken and much more.) Personally, I also think that trying to get enough ammo (with ascensions or scrolls) is also important in nightmare. Takes so many bullets to tear your enemies down! And quickly enough you stand there without ammo. Of course - this considered, I think it is also helpful to have weapons with two different ammo types. I think "illusion" is a perfect companion, it has an extreme damage output imho. Anyways - thanks for the content and keep up the good work! 🙂

Im consistently winning runs but still cant nail nightmare. The bird works best for my playstyle but i find him really hard to boss with, due to allot of his skills (such as leap cd reset on kill) having very little use in these encounters. This guide was nice. Thnks

It takes a decent amount of tries to find what works for you but finding the right weapons is a huge thing in nightmare mode

I actually think the bird by far the best pick for solo nightmare. The problem i have most of the time is, that i wont get decent weapons/scrolls on the first few stages and when you play the cat or the dog you just wont be able to do enough dps. The bird can just smash everything down. Also, being able to regen 100% of your armour with one leap is insanely powerful and is definitely better than a recharging shield

Yeah I agree the bird is by far the best. I think the dog however can have an insane dps potential with his dual wield. The cat is very difficult to play in nightmare mode though due to the fact that you have to get a crazy weapon or scroll very early on if you want a chance

I just played for few days and havent passed elite yet. But the bird is bar far my favourite. My best build is stacking Q damage and slice through everyone in path. Can this work in nightmare?

Yes it can work in but you will need a really good Q build as well as a couple of good defensive items as well.

@@TheOriginalMako i just did this build with 2 friends in normal. 10,000,000 dmg dealt
