I knew cath and gabby were different people, after all how would one person play both video game characters, but what’s funny is that i actually can understand why people would think that. Their voices are so close to the same pitch and everything that they nearly sound one-to-one. What’s funnier is that out of all the members of WPE, jake’s voice is the only one that is actually distinct enough to not get mixed up with someone else’s. We have gabby and cath, but i’ve also heard that people also confuse alex and ellis together, as well.

Eh, imo Cath handled that pretty badly. The other two just hopping on didn't help the situation either. True Ellis did not need to add in that he did better overall but he was just trying to acknowledge that although she wasn't the best in the party, she was doing great. She took the individual parts of the sentence and didn't put them together for context. And once the others joined in, she felt validated. I hope they both apologized to each other afterwards because they both did bad in that conversation but Cath was the greater offender imo.

i think what happenned was ellis interpreted "im better at rougelikes" as "im better at rougelikes than you" where as cath meant "im better at rougelikes as supposed to other games" so ellis assumed it was about him. and by doing so made himself think cath was saying something incorrect. and the WeLl AcKtUAlllY in him came up and he just had to correct her. which made the compliment back-handed. TLDR Ellis' ego caused the arguement
