FYI, G-Dragon's name is a translation of his korean name Jiyong ("yong" means dragon). He has a unique voice and styling that many have tried to copy. the drops and shifts in the beat that you mentioned is BIGBANG's style. The range of their voices are different so their songs are pretty hard to sing for solo singers. The most amazing thing about them is how they were able to make sense of their diffferences in all their music. The music engineers and producers behind their songs are also amazing for coming up with the arrangements. G-DRAGON is also known as a music genius in Korea for his crafts. YG company also played a big part in this music style that BIGBANG had put to fame in Korea because the company allowed a good amount of creative freedom for the group which produced a number of crazy songs in the past years. BIGBANG was also the distinct color of KPOP and inspired many artist of the generations that followed. I recommend that you listen to their ballads and solos because you won't be disappointed. BIG BANG are the Kings of Kpop because they inspired and influenced all the other 2nd, 3th and 4th gen Artists in the Kpop Industry to become more than a Companies puppet. Mainly because they were the first group to write, compose and produce their own songs that made them the No 1 Kpop group for 10 years between 2007 - 2016. That's because they are also all musicians too. The 5 of them could probably play all their songs too. The synth work to DJ to everything else in their music they can do themselves also They were also the first group to have Artists that were rappers and loved Hip Hop and all the other styles of music, genres and were not afraid to experiment in their music. No matter how you look at it, BIG BANG songs last in your mind because they are so catchy...they have great hooks on their songs. Everyone can relate to their songs because they portray real life and are not always happy, poppy songs. The members of BIG BANG are true Artists, Superstars. NO one would dispute that. I love them, any one of their songs.

Here is some info : 1. Taeyang came back with new music recently and it's epic to say the least. TOP is working on his new solo album. 2. 25:55 Well...if you go to their concert it will never be the same again because: - Seungri left the group in 2019 because of a scandal and we don't talk about him lmao - TOP left the group sadly... I don't know why he left but my opinion is that he was sick of it all because he got a lot of hate (for no reason) years ago and apparently tried to commit s****de (don't quote me on that because we will never know the whole truth of course)...luckily he recovered. But after that he said time and time again that he wants to leave the industry... He left YG ent a few months ago and he left the group. 3. They all have solo music, you can check it out if you want. 4. Their live performances are amazing. If you want you can check out Japan Dome Tour 2014 or MADE Tour

They debuted in 2006, ive beckme a fan in 2008💛 Their genres have no bound. They originally more to hiphop and r&b but through out years they are not afraid to try different genres. They have 100% control on their music and a lot like the producing of their album(write and produce), album concept,concert(they would also fund their own concert of their own pocket) and perfomance etc… They were the one who brought YG Entertainment to become a big company back then. That reason YG gave them shares to YG. You can google their older building a small rundown place, how they were struggling in their trainees with barely have much to eat. They had to do errands like cleaning training room, buying food etc.. for their seniors when they were trainees. Which i hate YG for using them like that but Bigbang didn’t really complain about it. And took it as experienced for them. After 6 years hiatus members are coming back with solo projects . Taeyang is the first . His personal style is more r&b . From his new album you can watch Vibe with BTS Jimin , Shoong with BlackPink Lisa , Seed , an emotional balad . There is a live performance of Nighfall and a live for Seed with actor Park Bogum playing piano . Rapper TOP joined a crew of artists who plan to fly to the moon for inspiration. He is working on new music and some sort of a movie . Daesung has big plans too but for now we dont know details . GDragon is working . New music is expected. We dont know when . These years he has been active în fashion. He has his own fashion house Peace Minus One, released 4 shoe models with Nike , is brand ambassador for Chanel . yeah GD is a rockstar - by far the most faous kpop member and soloist- he just revolutionsised SO many things. Once you explore more, you'll start to realise where everything the others do came from - a LOT of idol members and outside of kpop follow his flow style - the distinctive voice he uses and his inflection, youll pick it up. he gets parodied a lot too lol because hes so infamous in korea and asia (and beyond!)
