The implication that no matter how you jam a cam in it can't possibly come out is a dangerous message. Before and after this video went up, there have been bad accidents and fatalities in the Gunks involving cam failures, something a person might think impossible from listening to the commentary on these jerk tests, which don't come anywhere near simulating fall impacts. Hopefully, this is in a place where almost no one trying to learn about climbing safety will ever see it, but really Chris you ought to take this down.

A slung beer can in a crack also holds when you tug on it... This is misimformative, and a threat to novice climbers. The assumption that every shitty placement will hold a fall because it doesn't pop when you pull on it is downright dangerous. How could you possibly think that a 50N tug test is worth anything when a fall will easily put 100 times that force on a piece?

Is that actually water or did you pee in that crack? Perhaps further testing would be appropriate.

yes, I couldn't upload directly to mp, so I went with KZbin to add it to the mp thread.
