Wife and I did the one next to the square bridge last autumn in the rain. Was going to go up to blakethwaite dams but found that first

I think the one by the bridge is the best for swimming in.

What's the longest walk you have done for the channel so far

The Aysgarth & Redmire walk was 20km. Bolton Abbey was 24km, but that was because I was on the wrong side of the river for the Strid and had to run back on the correct side. It shouldn't have been that long! 😆

It was only 16 degrees when I set off, that's coat weather! 😂
