How awesome! You sure know how to take this game and givr it a cool, fresh twist! Must have taken quite some work to set up as well! Btw, as inaccurate as it is to have Spain as a faction considering the starting date, it's still small stuff compare with good old rome 1. I always get a laugh of thinking how the developers just decided to call the various tribes of the region "Spain" and give them a unit called "Bull warrios", cause you know, bullfigthing is what people know about Spain XD Almost a pity that we didn't get things like a "bagette brigade" for France and other silly units like that!

How to make it to the age of gunpowder ?

After 1290, gunpowder should become available... In my case I changed the descr_events file (data, world, maps, campaign, imperial campaign). I changed the date of 'gunpowder_discovered' to 2. this way it happens at the start.
