Carrie brings much needed energy, not to mention an amazing voice. Nothing against Axl but Carrie could front this band no problem.

Carrie would never do that. Carrie has too much respect for G&R. Axl was just returning the favor. Carrie invited Axl to Stagecoach a country music festival. And since Carrie was in London, Axl gave her a chance to sing with G&R.

He saw the fan side of Carrie, where Carrie was so excited to meet Axl, she freaked out like any other fan. Then he got to see Carrie the performer, like WOW. Axl didn't realize the power Carrie has. He wanted to see if Carrie had the same power there in London.

Cool that Axl visited Carrie's show on Coachella for 2 songs. And now invites her to his stage :) No one has been able to develop themselves so much as Axl among the big Legends when they are older. Carrie explained this performance and how quickly this came about. Carrie was already in London promoting her album and her manager, Ann said Axl asked her and Carrie said yes before she could finish it. Ann had to scramble to readjust Carrie's schedule.

This is fantastic, I also love how insanely cool Slash Still looks! To be honest Axl sounds better here than the last tour I same him in. He has to be cut some slack singing these songs at the age of 60. Obviously he's not going to sound anything like he did in his 20s Also cool seeing Carrie here, she looks like she's having so much fun. I love her with my favourite guitarist and singing too Brad Paisley.

Axl's age isn't the problem. The problem is that he sings outside his natural range without knowing the proper technique, a fairly common issue with rock singers.

Great videos sir. We were there in the East Stand and I can say the sound was brilliant. It seems the Friday wasn't quite as good and that's getting all the Media Coverage, but the Saturday performance was spot on.

I'm happy to hear you had a good time. This was recorded on the Friday night and I never noticed any issues personally but I think I might just have been lucky with where I was standing. However, and maybe because it was this venue's first ever music event from what I understand, it was a poorly organised affair. At least Axl was good enough to acknowledge the issues with the sound and try to rectify it so everybody could enjoy the show.

@@marklaroche7981 This was probably a mistake as he sounds much better live. I was on the Prague show. After I listened some of the songs from the same show on youtube. Sounded very different. His clean high voice is actually very good live, but somehow the mobile phone mics are not optimized for it. I do not say that all songs are amazing, some of them are better, some of them are worse, but overall they still are great.

We all change as we get older. I used to have a heck of a voice with a fantast8c upper register. My throat tightens up and I can barely sing at all at 72. I lip synch at church because I don't want to embarrass myself Barely capable of singing along with the radio these days. Let's see how you do at that age. You can not take away the fact that he was one of the greats.

Axl shoul give up . His perfprmance is embarassing . It's easy to note the difference between Carrie's voice ( really interesting) and that of Axl. I can't understnd how a rock star like Slash can continue going on tour with a singer who is no more able to sing., eeve if , 25 years ago, Axl was definitely one of the best singers in the world ( probably unique). I miss that Axl.

Axl still sounds incredible & unique, Live. Judging him from on-line videos is unfair. To experience how amazing Axl still is (he is 60 years old, though. you cannot expect him to be a 90's Axl), you'd have to hear him, at a live concert by attending said concert, yourself. Slash knows full well who & what Axl is. The whole band still rocks the stage & they still have great shows. In fact, they are happier now than they have ever been, which also shows, in their concerts.

I was there on Saturday, and they were having trouble with the sound on Friday, Axl nearly cancelled Tottenham altogether, I'm so glad that he didn't, they were brilliant, yes, he is having trouble with his voice, but so would you if you did that amazing amount of singing, screaming as he has.
