When I look into your eyes I can see a love restrained But darlin' when I hold you Don't you know I feel the same? Nothin' lasts forever And we both know hearts can change And it's hard to hold a candle In the cold November rain We've been through this such a long long time Just tryin' to kill the pain, ooh yeah Love is always coming, love is always going No one's really sure who's lettin' go today Walking away If we could take the time to lay it on the line I could rest my head just knowin' that you were mine All mine So if you want to love me then darlin' don't refrain Or I'll just end up walkin' in the cold November rain Do you need some time on your own? Do you need some time all alone? Ooh, everybody needs some time on their own Ooh, don't you know you need some time all alone I know it's hard to keep an open heart When even friends seem out to harm you But if you could heal a broken heart Wouldn't time be out to charm you? Oh, oh, oh Sometimes I need some time on my own Sometimes I need some time all alone Ooh, everybody needs some time on their own Ooh, don't you know you need some time all alone And when your fears subside And shadows still remain, oh yeah I know that you can love me when there's no one left to blame So never mind the darkness, we still can find a way 'Cause nothin' lasts forever, even cold November rain Don't ya think that you need somebody? Don't ya think that you need someone? Everybody needs somebody You're not the only one You're not the only one Don't ya think that you need somebody? Don't ya think that you need someone? Everybody needs somebody You're not the only one You're not the only one Don't ya think that you need somebody? Don't ya think that you need someone? So you probably replied to me just to rub it in my face the fact that I can't play worth a shit, no matter how hard i try! So good for you! Play your heart out! Good job! Don't be a FAILURE like ME! In fact I have an even better idea---there's this very beautiful woman that I fell in love with, and I made her all kinds of empty promises, because I honestly thought I could accomplish them, but then it all turned out to be just wishful thinking. So you can have her! I want you to have her. YOU play the guitar for her. You probably already do! And hey, you already have the same first name as me! So it's perfect! You see, you're already off to a good start! Good luck! Do you know who you're talking to here? You're talking to a FAILURE, and a suicidal maniac! Existira otra vida en el más allá o esto es todo lo que nos espera? Por qué creo que no es Justo , Miles y Miles de años dé existencia en la humanidad y que solo nos toquen miserables 70 u 80 años. Got married in November. Was married for 23 years it's sad when one falls out of love from the other one doesn't let them know and he just walks away. And that's how the family with a child for years and you just found out, nothing lasts forever. My advice to anybody is to date a long time don't get into a serious relationship when you're young get a dog 🐶, they can't hurt you😊
@Chris-vj5wk4 ай бұрын
I left for the Marine Corp 3 days after turned 18, got married 8 mo later, and was deployed to Iraq 3 days before I turned 19. My twins was born while I was overseas. When I got home it felt like we was both trying to hard, but things got better. But was deployed again and at mail call I got the news she could do again the next day was the start of hell on us and even in the most trying time of my life I couldn't stop thinking about her and my twins. So I didn't know if I was mad, or if I understood, or even if maybe just maybe it was a relief that I didn't have to keep my promises that I'd come home the same way I left. Yep crazy but it bothered me I mad a promise I might not be able to keep. But I knew then and I know now I felt pain, maybe for the best maybe not. But either way it HURT hurt in a way I had never felt before and to this day I've never felt pain like that , that felt different then any pain I ever endured. So I do understand some what. Keep your head up, be Strong, lean on family and friends. And leave a commitment in 6 mounts and I bet it will be different. 💔

@@unconventionalworldofrock I got through it, married and it didn’t kill me it made me stronger and want to live a life she would be proud of, even my wife knows my feelings for that girl will never leave or fade. You can love someone eternally yet move on with life, I’ve learned but looking back it really felt like no way I’d make it through it but I did. Hope this helps the next person.

This song was played by someone in the works canteen and I realised it was time to leave a workplace that had turned toxic. I’m now at a better workplace and although I don’t know if it’ll work out, I do know that if it didn’t, then I could leave again and move on. May God bless you all. X

If human race would have to leave behind a song to represent all the legacy of our music in this planet, then it would probably be The November Rain or Aerosmith I don't wanna miss a thing.

Hands down GNR's best work and one of the truly great love songs of all time. Lots of truth in there too. Nothing lasts forever... even cold November rain.

This is my favorite song because my wife and I listened to this song quite a bit and one minute she was with me then in November of 1999she died in her sleep. This brings back memories and I cry every time I hear it. RIP my love ❤️❤❤❤❤❤
