My son told me he wanted this song played at his funeral. He was born on November 5, 1982. He died when he was 25 years and 4 months old. Guns and Roses "November Rain" was played at his funeral as he had requested. This young man did an outstanding job on his rendition of the song. I just saw it for the first time tonight and immediately saved it to my phone. Thank you, young man, for your beautifully heart felt song and I wish you the best. My son would have loved it, too.

This song was my partners favourite track, he took his life and inside I have died along side of him.Dean was only 25 yrs old with the mental term used by his doctor as being a paranoid schizophrenic, How my heart is still beating i will never know 5 months after i gave birth to our daughter who was born sleeping never to see her eyes hear her cry, my life was silenced then and i still silently cry now never moved on from him or our baby girl in 25 almost 26 yrs later. I remember watching this on TV back when it was first broadcast and feeling instantly that this was an event & I'd always remember it. And it's held true thru the decades. I'd known her for a few years by this time but this performance certainly catapulted her career. And if I'm not mistaken, she actually sang this on stage with Roy before he died. She's always been a favorite for the same reasons you love her, Nick. So glad I found your channel tonight. I first found your review of K.D. singing Hallelujah at the Olympics a few minutes ago. I felt the same, what a magnificent way of lighting her performance. And her voice.
