Hello Ryan, thank you very much for a truly great guitar lesson. I was wondering if you would mind clarifying one little section for me, though. I saw Oliver Hee has also written to you about this in the comments below. In the verse, when you go from the D over A to the C chord, there are these two muted strums. I always play them by strumming a C chord up and down real quick and then muting the strings, but I think you’re doing something else, kind of like you’re transitioning from one chord to the next and moving your fingers from the D over A to the C while you’re playing two muted strums. I’ve been trying to figure out what exactly you’re doing by watching the video over and over again, but I’m afraid I just can’t seem to figure it out. Would you be so kind as to help me out? And also, I have to say, your guitar sounds so perfect for that song. Could I ask what kind of strings you’re using? Thank you very much for your time and help and have a great day! Pieter Dams
@rpguitarvideos6 жыл бұрын
I had to go back and watch this but I thought around 3:42 in the video when I play it slow that should help out?? I hate to say but I'm not really sure how to answer that. If I'm not muting the strings during the chord change then I'm probably hitting open D and G strings as a transition. Hope that helps some?? Thanks and I was using extra light gauge Elixir nano web strings.
