Axl my favourite singer and frontman of all time. Such a unique voice and swagger 😎

Axl still can sound amazing….as long as he has 4-5 days between shows, he can still kick ass. He played with AC/DC a few yrs ago, like 3-4 yrs, and was in PEAK form…check it out.

Saw him in 2017 in London. Axl was absolutely pitch perfect. He is my all time favourite singer.

You aren't taking into account what songs he may have been singing that night before the November rain song. If you go back to the Tokyo 1992 concert his voice sounds worn singing November rain but stronger on high tempo numbers after it

I saw him live in 2017 and he was much better than the 2014 that you showed. He didn't have as many pitch issues and so I wonder if he had done a lot of work on his voice since then.

Sunny please listen to Axl during the 2006-2010 era. I think he was at his prime. Two videos, Knocking on Heaven's Door in 2006: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHKUmWN4ibCFqMk and also, Sailing, very high pitch here (2006): kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJ7MYnWGlKuGaLs

Apparently Axl was using Sebastian Bach's vocal coach back then. Still, that show may have been re-recorded at a studio, there's just too much compression in how his vocals sounded there, but I donno and admire the guy anyway.

Ruined his voice but left a legacy that most singers with great voices into their old age will never match. So, probably worth it.

He should have canceled that concert and rested. That was terrible. Knowing how good he actually is makes it even more terrible. He wasnt stage ready that night. He's certainly lost a step, but this is not a fair repredentation where he's at vocally in general. This is where he is at vocally at the end of a long concert, at the end of a long strings of concerts, after 27 years of doing long strings of concerts. Give me a 3 to 5 day break between shows and this doesnt sound as good as original Axl, but it sounds a helluva lot better than this.

Maybe also his lifestyle before contributed to why he sounds this way at present

So he ruined his voice...But everyone knows his name. When I think of Hard rock Hes number 4 on my top 5. He lived the rockstar lifestyle like all the rest and has a lot of money and fame for doing it.
