nah this and One in a millions still caused a fair bit of controversy and had people pissed off even in the late 80's. Mainly one in a million which caused quite a storm, but they were able to carry on fine because a)slash was half black b)axl was a pretty big fan of NWA and got on well with them so it showed Axl obviously didn't hate black people and c) most importantly, their music was undeniably freaking amazing.
