This is beyond dope. This sees "dope" in its rearview mirror. It's The Set Piece, and the emotional climax of the 2nd series. Like +Sianostrakarenrenren said, not only Triela's guttural roar, after snapping Pinnochio's blade, conveys this. There's also the ultra-close-ups of their eyes and spurting blood; the way the color palette goes high-contrast after the knife is broken; and how the music speeds up in tempo, raising the stakes beyond limit. All these devices subtly inform a scene where impossibly powerful foes fight without relenting, until one is dead. Utterly amazing. HA

I was thinking that too, maybe I didn't find this video when I was lookng for this fight months ago, but it makes me really happy. I was actually looking for this because I'm making a video for my top 10 favorite fights in anime (this one unfortunately only being an honorable mention) and not only am I glad that I found the fight on KZbin, but on top of that it's dubbed; everything else was either raw Japanese or subbed (English or otherwise). You have no idea how happy this makes me.

I was actually rooting for pinnochio in this battle. For starters he earned his skills through hard work and training while the girls were cybernetically enhanced so they would have the easy advantage. If there is one thing i learned from this show,there are no good guys in this world

Didnt mean they didnt have to work for what they do. regardless of being cybernetically enhanced they had to go through rehab, training of various types, conditioning and other types of labor. nothing is ever an easy task.
