Gunslinger Joe Mein leben Run with tips (without cutscenes)

Here is a Mein leben run with commentary in the first DLC for Wolfenstein II - The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe. Hopefully this helps with attaining the All-Pro Warrior achievement!
0:05 - Volume 1 - Captured/Research Station Omega
22:29 - Volume 2 - On the Run/Springfield
37:42 - Volume 3 - Showdown/Metze's Headquarters
45:49 - Volume 3 - Showdown/Venus Base Gamma

Thanks for the guide, it's very useful. However, I also want to share my strats which I found during my practice runs and consider them more stable and safe. Level 1: Area 8:14 - Knock out the two guards then go to the left and collect the goods in the two rooms. Then go to the other side of the area (on the left when you exist these rooms) through the catwalk, knock out another guard and place yourself crouching near the staircase behind a cover on a railings. Then you can catch the moment when the other commander is right at the other side of the area and the super soldier is walking beneath with his back open. Shoot the supersoldier, then the commander, and rush towards the control room. The rest of the fight should be pretty easy. Level 2: Area 27:33 - There is a very nasty bug there which can ruin your run. When the supersoldier lands the game for some reason pushes you forward through textures and if you are on the catwalk at the moment you will likely fall and die. So, once you trigger the alarm stay behind or in the door frame until the supersoldier appears. Area 32:53 - You can actually jump over the enemy spawn trigger here. Just aim right and jump onto the containers at the right. It is not very hard and makes the run a bit easier. Level 3: Area 42:37 - Just like in the previous strat you can jump over the spawn trigger of 2 supersoldiers under the bridge if you firstly land on the crates and then jump to the stairs at the right. Not very useful cause even if you hit the trigger you have plenty of time to run away but still. Area 49:07 - You can actually stealth this section pretty easily. Once the signal panel pops up wait one second, go around the corner and knock out the enemy on the right. Then walk forward clinging to the right wall so the guy on the left catwalk won't see you and go behind the wall. Then you should knock out the commander behind a corner with the can throw. Start crouching just behind corner, peek from it and aim right at his head - this should be a guaranteed kill. After some time the guards will find the first body and initiate the search around that area. Jump down to the lower area and walk forward until you hit the ladder. Climb it and on the right there will be exit. This strat sounds kinda complex but it's actually pretty easy and consistent once you train it. Final Boss - I actually found running around strat pretty inconsistent because of the enemy placements and RNG. For some reason on the very first rushing through the upper area a supersoldier may spawn and likely kill your run. The empty magazine in the wrong time can also kill your run. I found the stairs strat shown in the "Wolfenstein II - Gunslinger Joe Vol 3 Mein Leben Faster Strategy" video (I can't put a link here) more consistent (running around is like 50% successful and stairs is 80%). I had my own implementations to it though, which I will briefly cover. Once you tuck yourself into the crates shoot the Kampfpistole (grenade pistol) into the right hand of the boss. After 5 rounds throw a grenade to the right and turn on crouching (the boss stops flamethrowering you from time to time and you can control how far you should throw the grenades). Shoot the boss through the staircase railings and after another 6 rounds throw a second grenade. The amount of damage dealth seems to be pretty random but you will likely run out of ammo for Kampfpistole and switch to the rifles. Finish the boss and enemies on the right and behind the stairs if there are some. Ideally you should have one commander alive (if there are 2, the second one should be on the right or behind the stairs). This commander will be to the left behind the crates you were hiding in, along with the supersoldier. Kill them both ASAP and run to the staircase near door from which you entered the area. There will be a cart with the crates on the way and to the left of it you can collect armor. After you get to that staircase there might be an enemy coming down, so beware. By that time you will be low on collant, so while all the enemies behind are in disarray you can replish from 0.25 to 0.5 circle. After that all the enemies should be on the lower level of the area and you can shoot them hiding behind the pipe and crates. Very rearly one enemy may be on the upper level and come after you, so check your left from time to time. Idealy you should have enough collant to finish all the remaning foes. All in all, it's not a 100% successful but more consistent than running around. I may try to optimize and improve it later.

Your original one for the base game got me through a lot of tough situations and I studied it HARD for some essential strategies that I mirrored in my own runs. I didn't use this video much because I found the DLC to be quite easy after finishing the main game on Mein Leben, but I enjoyed watching it all the same just to see how you handled the encounters. Nice job dude. Really appreciate your guides - calm steady voice, clearly explained and straight into the action with no cheesy 30 second intro. I put off doing this achievement and frankly quite nervous about the last boss since I have done the "Venusian Expert" Achievement and that took me quite a few attempts even though I used pretty much your method of keeping on moving with a shotgun and rocket gun dual-wield... I should stop procrastinating and just do it. And yes, please do guides on the remaining DLCs.

Thanks for this great guide, I stayed away from The New Colossus for a long time because of Mein Leben but I'm a huge Wolfenstein fan and I knew I'd come back sooner or later. Decided it would probably be quicker to do the DLC first before attempting Mein Leben in the main game did Agent Silent Death and Deeds of Captain Wilcons basically back to back without much difficulty, but this DLC dang. Even with your guide to use for guidelines must have taken me about 3 dozen attempts, still though really quite satisfying to finally finish.

I know it's over 3 years since this guide, but for anyone who comes here: There's one upgrade kit not mentioned in the video. In the first Volume, in one of the commander sections there's a kit on the second floor, laying on a green desk near the location of one of the commanders. It upgrades your grenades with the Fragmentation upgrade. It's not much, but get it if you want - every little thing counts.

First of all congrats! :D For the final battle you can hide between the wall and boxes under the stairs right across from the start point! The rocket and fire attacks of the Zitadelle won't affect you there. Works in the combat challenge as well as the story, I made videos on both. You just have to keep an eye on any random enemies shooting in your direction, or you can throw grenades to distract them.

For anyone reading this in the future, don’t try this strat, it’s very inconsistent and will likely end up up with a dead Mein Leben run. In fact the whole last section is very inconsistent, for example the Übersoldat can spawn right beside the second officer at the back, if that happens, you’re in big trouble. If you hide behind the stairs, maybe a bunch of the soldiers will immediately run down the adjacent stairs and melt you, it’s just not worth it. My advice is practice a bunch on the challenge trial and get very comfortable with just moving around and learning where everyone is.
