Here is a Mein leben run in Wolfenstein II on Xbox One X with commentary. Things go far from perfect but I hope some of these examples and tips can help with snagging the Mein leben achievement :)
PLEASE NOTE the Mein leben difficulty actually unlocks after completing the game on any other difficulty but I would still recommend playing the game through on I am death incarnate! as it is most similar to Mein leben.

@@jc.8112 When you go to axe Engel at the very end and she shoots you, she deals a ton of damage. What the other guy meant was that someone probably tried a mein leben run and died at that very spot which is sad since it's the very end.

They'll save you a hell of a lot of time once you learn how to do them properly - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p6HOmYepqaeNna8 It's easier and safer SOMETIMES to just camp up and draw enemies to you instead of stealthing For the love of all that's good BE CAREFUL when trying to jump onto the train at Roswell The midsection of the game is the most difficult and easy to mess up (From around roswell to the end of the courthouse) Make sure to keep upgrading your weapons even after Kreeper does, every advantage comes in handy Don't follow Kreepers guide rigidly, there are certain sections he doesn't use the safest method on. Use this method for the courthouse, it is the absolute safest on possible - kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX-qiqWXhb-rosk For the final "boss" section use kreepers method of killing the 6 heavies then descend into the lower area, have your AR out in your right hand and shotgun in the left. run up and down ONE lane (the one closest to the ladder you need to climb at the end) and shoot any enemies that try to enter (they funnel in quiet slowly). Once that's done use the laser to kill the big guys by shooting the tanks on their backs. I took no damage using this strat. Trust me when I say if I can get this done, anyone probably can. Hopefully it doesn't take you as long. Again, good luck.

If only Bethesda could make all cutscenes skippable so we could give our best 3 hour shot, rather than spend 10 hours a run. I usually Never skip cutscenes, but for a permadeath I would need to to keep the adrenaline going, and then your video would serve as a great guide lol

The games not that hard, it just takes a lot of practice and patience, once you memorize it, where enemies spawn and what routes to take, you basically got 95%, the other 5% is just you being lucky that your game doesn’t crash

Your guide was fantastic! I finally completed Mein Leben while following your guide. I had many, many close calls on my successful run but I finally did it! The only strategy you used that wasn't working for me was the courtroom battle. I just kept getting killed by those damn grenades in that corner. So I followed a different strategy which got me through the fist half of the courtroom without taking any damage. Other than that, I followed your guide like it was the Bible! My dude, my guy, this video was instrumental in me getting this trophy. When I first attempted it I didn't think I stood a chance, this guide pointed out so many hints and strategies that allowed me to hone my efforts into a science tackling this insane challenge. You mentioned taking 7 or 8 attempts right? Well I didn't count, but it had to be dozens at least, an entire month of binging Mein Leben and pushing myself to the extreme of my endurance and willpower. This is without a doubt the most brutally difficult trophy I've ever earned, and I owe a huge chunk of my success to you and your work, hats off and deepest thanks.

Hunter London you have to manual save brother don't be down when you are in the court house get to points where you can take a breather and manual save and when you die you start from there make sure there is no imminent death when you manual save and check point your way thru I've beat it on I am death incarnate numerous times I'm doing mein lebien now hope this helps

Excellent video man, your strategy and commentary are top-notch. I've played this game on Death Incarnate my first run through of the game, and I thought it was really tough. For me the most difficult was the courtroom (died here A LOT), so it was amazing to see how you handle that scene among all the others the game.

36:10 I've personally found that you can quite easily stealth this entire section by running to the right and into the cave immediately, ignoring the big robot. Most of the enemies from the stairs and so on aren't too difficult to kill silently. That said, I was playing on Do or Die, so the enemies might be more alert on Mein Leben. Either way, this is a fantastic walktrough with great commentary. Nice job.

After a long time training in death incarnate, I tried mein leben two times and died in 1:50:00 for a guy that rushed and Im not managed to kill him first and 2:31:20 for I didnt see, the comander alarmed and some soldier killed me. Edit: More 5 attepms, killed 2 times in Vênus, 1 in the first soldier, 1 in panzerhund level and 1 at 2:11:28 After some 15 attemps I did it! I almost died in the final robo dog, but maneged to survive, missed one laser shot at the final boss, so I killed every soldier and destroyed the last robot with de rifles.

I got to the end of my Death Incarnate run and was laughing maniacally as I slowly approached Frau Engel, dipping under the bleachers, taking the lifts, soaking in the studio lights and fake laughter and absurdity of it all. She was mine. I took the last lift down onto the stage-floor, just as Frau Engel was regaling Jimmy Carver with details about slicing my head off. She gets up in enraged shock, and I sprint up to her, wanting to look her in the eyes long and hard before slicing her to pieces. Then she shot me 3 times and I died. The Nazis won.

Tip at 8:55, there is a fire canister where those 2 guys come running at you, have your crosshair over it and as soon as you see the first guy, shoot and blow it up, they will both die instantly.

The part at 24:00 where you drop into the room and lean out from the wood where you said you could take damage through the wall. You can stay ontop of the roof instead and kill all of the guys actually, it's a much safer option incase you are having trouble with the area.

Btw, at 2:23:05 it seems you triggered the heavy because you tried to melee and slice his fuel line *just* as he moved out of melee range. You had 3 hatchets one second and then 2 the next, so you obviously threw the hatchet at him instead of slicing him.

This would have to be one of the best vids I have seen for any game. As mentioned below, the commentary compliments it all perfectly. I had been through the game twice before deciding to go through on 'I Am Death Incarnate' and this helped me to do so. I will admit I saved a lot, but you also showed access points and directed play that I would never have thought of. Because of this I am inclined now to try 'Mein Leben' and see how it goes. Not sure how I would have gotten through the courtroom without this either, in fact I stayed in the spot you indicated for so long that there were no bad guys left and when I went to the store rooms to kit up I just walked out the exit. Not one heavy showed up on the way out, I either had killed them all or they just didn't spawn??? Thank you and please keep up the good work.

I swear to god if they made cutscenes skippable I would attempt theres nothing more heart breaking than failing at this and if you feel like retrying your forced to sit through this shit doom had ultra nightmare which is the exact same as this one but in doom it immediately skips the intro tutorial level and puts you in the 1st level right after the elevator
