Really gotten hooked on old radio shows, Westerns, SciFi, detective, mystery and horror, this episode is an example why.

Chester sure is loved, in an old western sense.

Isn't it sad you had to put it that way? Nothing wrong with Brotherly love, makes me angry some want to make it what it ain't.

The word "love" in the English language covers multiple concepts. The Greek language is much more sensible in this regard, having four different words.

Going back through the episodes again and this time around I think "Never Pester Chester" could be my favorite out of the whole series.

The best radio western has to be the short lived Frontier Gentleman

Don't be lonely Marshall. I think you should ask Kitty out on date.
@dianagrayson50963 жыл бұрын
Matt did ask Kitty out. They went to a dance and the townspeople, especially the men, snubbed her. Hypocrites!

Naw, they got off too easy, he should have given Trivet a beating, and he should have dragged the big guy like he did to Chester!

Have you ever heard of those "children's books" Who Will Help Jack Off The Horse?; Brenda's Beaver Plays Around; Lucy Likes To Look At Balls and MANY more? That's what I thought of when I heard that line! 🤣

LOL...I heard that too

In the old west you can drag a person and as long as they don't die you are set free? The big guy also threatened to kill the Marshal.

I know, they got off too easy, he should have given Trivet a beating, and he should have dragged the big guy like he did to Chester! That would have been considered attempted murder by today's standards! There's a lot of these episodes where people get away with conspiracy to commit murder. The ones where someone hires a gunman to kill Matt or someone else, and the gunman gets killed, but the person who hired him is only told to get out of town!

Matt was always the judge and executioner in Dodge. He meted out “justice” depending upon who the victim was. If Kitty, Doc, Chester or a friend was victimized, all bets are off.

@@777thetruth2 but remember that ‘the law’ was in its infancy and still progressing. Matt sure was a great law man. He went by the book, even trying to put someone under arrest that had the upper hand. Conrad sure was a great voice actor!
