When Trixter's first album came out the bands management told everyone they were just out of high school,to appeal to the younger crowd, but they were over 21 and had to explain themselves after being seen drinking beer at shows. I think they had some great tunes.🤟

All of those bands deserved more success, but I'm thankful for the great memories they've given everyone.

I met the band (minus Pete Loran) back when they first came to Atlanta, Georgia for the first album. Great bunch of guys. Pete never came outside because it was cold that night and he was trying to protect his voice. I even remember answering the trivia question P.J. Farley asked a group of us, since he only had one guitar pick left on him. I remember the question to this day, and I was the only one to know the answer to it, so he gave me the pick. They were awesome! I loved them and ran right out and bought their first record. I'm surprised but glad to hear they are still pioneering onwards. It makes me smile to hear that bands I grew up with are still relevant today and rocking the newer generations, granted they missed the better part which in most cases was their debut but are still hearing what was once ours (I say it this way because they were major big in our day, it's not a title claim. It's the fact while these bands are "older" they are newer to the younger generations just finding them.

Bottom line is, they didn't cut the mustard, they're posers. They had a great start, but too late to the party.

They couldn't have opened for Dokken, because Dokken broke up in 1988. Perhaps you're referring to Don Dokken, because he put out a solo album in 1990. Also, Trixter is on hiatus for the 2nd time. Steve Brown is jamming with Def Leppard, a couple of members are now part of Mr. Big singer Eric Martin's solo band.
