Your locs are going to be super fire when they become all the way mature
@odawg88422 жыл бұрын
Hey Gunther I started my locks about 9 1/2 months ago coming from curly hair from I experience I’m almost certain that 2 strand twist is the best way to mature your dreads faster. My dreads kind of looks like yours just shorter and a little more mature but I do avoid washing it because it gets super frizzy and I feel like I’m loosing progress. But overall I recommend keeping your hair in 2 strands until they are fully matured

I started off with mediums with the same hair type. I kinda wish I did with smaller locs like yours. You got 150 locs, I got 56 bro. But my sides and the lower back of my neck is tapered. So I’m sure if I had that as locs, probably have 70ish. But still, 150!? I wish. And I really REALLY don’t wanna start over because I’ve made so much progress and to be honest, I love them. But the downside to having mediums is that there are certain hair styles I just won’t be able to do. But I’m fine with that.

QUESTION - I have straight hair dreads when they crochet the root is it suppose to hurt cause it hurts OD
@Jorda5s2 жыл бұрын
No that means your ripping your hair out. Crochet shouldn’t be breaking the hair just pulling and twisting it together. You shouldn’t crochet the roots too much cause they will come loose until your hair matures
