That ending in the 1st Luminous Avenger game would've hit so hard but I thought the way it was told & how Copen reacts was a let down. I thought the 1st game was enjoyable though I GV2 is still the best in the series for me so far.

30:54- Yeah, hearing Arin voicing one of the bosses, and making a very good performance at that, definitely through me for a loop. But the one that surprised me more was who ended up voicing both Copen and Ypsilon... that being Alejandro "Kaggy" Saab! I don't know about you, but hearing Kaggy voicing both the mellowed-out former adept slayer and his robotic doppleganger from another timeline was equal parts jarring as it was awesome! Especially since it's clear Kaggy gave it his A-game in this, even if the game itself was rather disappointing.

Well, this is fun to watch. My own opinion on Luminous Avenger: I love it as much as the main games. They're just as fun to play, with soundtracks that admittedly get better when you listen to them on your own, cool and interesting EX weapons to use, and fun, if not engaging boss battles. Now, as for which between the two games I like in the spinoff series more, it's a bit odd. Most things in both games are similar: interesting stories, okay level design, okay soundtracks, and good graphics. But the things that stick out in the games to me are the gameplay, bosses, and EX weapons. I love the gameplay style of LAiX 1 more, being from GV2 with some improvements, but half of the EX weapons (excluding Darkness Trigger) are good, while the rest are meh, and the boss lineup is my least favorite set of boss characters in the series. As for LAiX 2, the EX weapons were better and more appealing, and the bosses were cooler looking and more fun to fight, but I'm not a big fan of the change in the gameplay, even if I like the Razor Wheel, and I did get used to the changes where I end up having more fun (when you get more in-game items). Ultimately, in terms of fun factor, I like LAiX 2 more. And I certainly hope IntiCreates makes a Luminous Avenger iX 3 in the future, to see more of what they can do with the series.
