ok Mem's incredible synergy with slow units is entirely unexpected by me, which I really welcome. This is also what I want out of a new character class. It's relatively complex, different and interesting. This also means that just as Fugue is an alt for HMC in Break teams, RMC now sort of replaces Tingyun in slow DPS teams. This is entirely accidental, I'm sure, but kinda funny it works out like that

Ruan Mei technique activates her skill at the start of the battle and gives her the energy, yup But we have no way of summoning Mem before this happens since we need to use RMC skill first for Mem to start gaining Charge. So unfortunately nope :(

In my opinion, Fugue is there because Hoyo know we will need Remembrance MC. Instead of powercreeped, I think fugue is more alternative for HMC

I don't think RMC is better than HMC. -RMC is more SP negative than HMC. RMC needs to skill most of the time just to charge Mem so that you can advance a single ally frequently. HMC on the other hand can utilize DDD which advances your whole team effortlessly. HMC's DDD AA relies on her teammates breaking enemies and it's obviously perfect for Break teams. This is even more superior in PF where you can just easily break 4 mobs each time, and double that number if you have Fugue. It's literally Robin but more abusive. -It seems like SB scales better than True dmg. I don't even know how True dmg is calculated, but from the surface, SB has a higher dmg multiplier than True dmg, but True can work with everyone efficiently. But still, SB has bigger PP dmg, but I really think it's because of how SB teams dmg output works. -I have already built HMC to max, and I don't think I'll be wasting MATs and Trailblaze energy just to build RMC when I even have Robin and Sunday in my collection. It would've been fine if they increased or doubled the MATs we can collect each try but they instead just increased the max energy to 300 which doesn't make any sense. It literally takes weeks to max out a character and more if you don't have relics yet, and you can only fully enjoy a unit after a month or so. Anyway, HMC > RMC by an infinite mile.

There's litteraly next to zero difference between normal summoners like Jingyuan and remembrance units, if anything remembrance units have many downsides like the fact they don't work with single target supports,many relic sets don't work on them, their summon can die and the number of lightcone options they have is lower. Jingyuan is actually better off being among the original type of summoners.

If that's the case, future relic sets (let's be real, there will be more) rememberance sets will not work with him as well. i mean i did this newest moc with kafka/black swan/aven/ruan mei in the first half - and while yes they use to be my zero cycle and they did not do exactly that this time - they still did it in four cycles - so even if she 'doesn't last' she'll hardly be dead in ditch... she seems better built baseline then jingliu, blade and dan il any ways. too much of her own thing then the simple hypercarry builds i think to doom her to a ditch. but then again i'm still a bit of a kafka main and everyone says she's died off soooo grain of salt and all that jazz i guess

Yes and unlike characters like Jade, topaz, Acheron, feixiao, and even Himeko and baby herta. Her relevance relies mostly on multipliers and self buffs. Eventually those will be crept by other units. It’s a shame herta and aglea’s days are predictably numbered but what can ya do :/

She can’t have 100% uptime on the taunt, and the more she gets hit naturally, the more opportunities she’ll have to get her taunt. That’s why her LC is so good on her, it nearly triples her chance of getting hit from regular attacks, which is massive for her energy

If I have her Harmony version on my Firefly team, I really don't want to have to go in and swap her forms every time I want to use her Rememberance form on a different team. I still think it sucks that they haven't released a single 4 Star character capable of applying Superbreak so if you want to use Superbreak without HMC your only option is a 5 Star Limited + It seems to me that RMC exists to promote the new Path and make up for the complete lack of non-limited support options in the game since the difficulty will definitely see a jump in version 3.0 onwards.

Decided to look up wording and I am a bit curious for one aspect of the eidolons. do RMC's eidolons affect Jing yuans lightning lord and other "summons" or do they only effect "memosprites" as stated in their description. Asking cause I just looked up Sundays skills and it states summons which demonstrated in video includes Mem. EDIT: Looking again I am thinking "summons" outside "memosprites" dont have a stat table for for the eidolons to effect, so i may have found the answer myself

RMC being a hybrid DPS + Support is the reaosn why I feel like I'll be forced to pull for Aglea. I thought RMC was going to be a DPS centered unit.

Mem's true dmg works with Robin's ult dmg. Actually pretty strong.

I would use RMC since they look pretty good, but im not pulling Fugue so HMC is sticking with my FF. Id rather get Herta and robin and then wait for Fugue rerun

It's probably better to just run HMC with fugue instead of rmc given that break team scale off break effect

nope, RMC is just a budget Sunday for crit DPS, if you have Sunday and Robin you won't be replacing them, if you don't have Ruan mei you should keep HMC in your break team

Look at it this way, RMC is a flat 30% extra damage to one of your unit's attacks. HMC is 120-160% extra damage to all of your team's attacks. I'm gonna assume you can do the math there.

Isn't Eidolon 4 also meant to help buffing Memosprites who have the buff? They have 0 max energy we know from the livestream and the energy they gain goes to the memomaster. Although I don't know if them using their skill (like Mem using Baddies Trouble or Let Me Help You) count as "actively using a skill". Or am I just crazy
